Between the months of April and June of 2025, my brother (79 years young) experienced several falls resulting in head injuries, brain damage and a stroke leaving him with a paralyzed right side. After being hospitalized several times, my brother was admitted into a Hospice Program in a Care Facility in Osseo. As a result of the stroke and being paralyzed he could not feed himself, nor speak or even sit in a chair properly. Also, my brother does not have teeth and as a result his food must be prepared accordingly. I found the Osseo location totally unacceptable given his challenges. A room was available at White Pines Assisted Living in Fridley. Once contacted the Administrator/Manager, Assistant Manager, & Nursing staff worked feverishly processing paperwork for my brother's admission. Since June 26, 2025, they have all taken all necessary steps to ensure that my brothers stay be the best it can possibly be, including special meals prepared for him by the Chefs. This is the most beautiful facility I have ever seen, maintained daily, inside and out, with the care one would give their own home. There are several areas to comfortably sit while watching TV, reading a book, visiting with family/friends, or simply relaxing while enjoying the plants and the many adorable fish in the large fish tank. Resident Rooms are spacious with personal half baths. There are several patio areas with tables and comfortable chairs. Beautiful plants and flowers surrounding the patio areas as well as the building. Through the consistent loving care my brother is receiving at White Pines Assisted Living he is no longer in the Hospice Program, has regained almost total use of his right side, talking, feeding himself and learning how to walk again. My brother is receiving care with the respect and compassion every human being deserves. He is no longer on the brink of death. Fran Linc

Fridley White Pine Senior Living was a small, homey place with really cute country decorations. We liked this place, but the price was a little bit higher than what we could afford. They have nice amenities, but it was not as fancy as some of the other places. There's woodwork all around. If you want a smaller community and you're not looking for a really fancy one, it could be a really good fit for you.

White Pine Memory Care (Fridley White Pine Senior Living) seems to be a pretty nice place. Sometimes they are a little short on help, but that happens in most places. It seems like everybody's friendly and seems like mom is treated well. It seems to be clean. The area where they have the television, couch, and chairs, and where they do exercise and stuff seems to be Ok.

My wife has been in memory care at White Pine for over a year. I’m very happy with that place. They do a great job. The people there are very attentive. They take very good care of her and they really go out of their way to help, so I would recommend it to anybody. They have a bingo forum and ball games there. They have multiple different things, I’m just not sure exactly what they all are because she’s not really capable of participating in all of their stuff. It’s very clean, kept very well, and does not have the institutional feel.
