My husband likes The Shores of Lake Phalen. He's happy there. The staff is good. He's in an efficiency, and he's got a refrigerator, but he has no cooking facility or anything like that. They have movies and crafts. They have in-house doctors or doctors who take care of the people in the facility if you wish. Otherwise, you can take them to your own doctor. They have an exercise room and a spa room, which is like a little pool tub. They did celebrate Christmas, and everybody decorated their place up. I brought him home for Easter, so I have no idea if they had anything going on. He likes the food. Value for money is good.
