Affinity At Eagan

I'm moving into Affinity at Eagan probably within the next month. I think it's absolutely wonderful. It's got all the amenities I would possibly need. I only had dealings with a couple of people, and they've been most helpful. They had an exercise room, yoga room, swimming pool, library, card room, game room, movie theater, beauty shop, and underground parking. I'm going into a one-bedroom with kitchen and a bath. They also have two-bedrooms and two-baths. It's so clean, and it smells good. They have a puzzle room, and they've got a game room where you can play pool, darts, or cards. There's lots of things to do. They have several activities through the week for the residents.

Affinity at Eagan had everything you wanted and that was great. The staff was nice. Their apartments were very nice; I liked them, liked the setup, and liked the whole setting. It was more of a younger senior place; it's not really for old seniors but active seniors. It's a wonderful place for active seniors who are still working; and can use all the amenities in the building. It's not for people who just stay in one place; there's so much to do that you don't want to just stay in your apartment. They had a great exercise room, a pool, a deck that faces west that you can relax on after work; they had a bar, a pool room or billiards area, a crafts room, workshop area, library, and theater. It was a fun place. The only drawback is that you look out onto a shopping mall and that's not very pretty.

Affinity At Eagan did not have the assisted part of living that we knew possibly we were going to have to get into. The rooms were very nice and appropriate. It was basically what we wanted. There were plenty of activities there. We looked at everything, and the most important to my husband was the fact that it had a pool and a place to do puzzles. What I liked in the room was it has a full kitchen. The only staff we had seen was the person that was helping us, and I would give her a 5. The facility itself was beautiful.

Affinity At Eagan was OK. It's just apartments for seniors. The person who gave me the tour was great. He was very informative, and he laid it all out. Everything was great, but I don't know if I want to live in a place with that many residents at this time. They have a dining area, a swimming pool, and a weight room. The tour was great, but the room was a little too small for me.

I visited Affinity at Eagan, it was just really an incredible facility. In fact, that would probably be one in my list again when I come back. The tour experience was very good. The staff members were very knowledgeable and they were able to answer all my questions. I am very impressed with all the amenities that they had under one roof. And I was just so impressed with everything that they have there. There really was not anything they haven’t thought of, to put under one roof. The thing that stuck out to me the most is – I am a crafter and they had a crafting room. A big room where you can take your crafts yourself and have a bin to put your craft in. So you don’t have to find the space to store your stuff in your apartment. There was an area to wash your dog. There was a pet grooming station – which was incredible to me to think that they have a pet grooming area. The movie theater, I thought that was pretty cool to have. It was pretty and just incredible. They have an internet café, indoor pool, it was pretty incredible to be honest. I was kind of blown away by all that stuff. I thought the apartments were very nice. They seem spacious enough to me and the bathrooms were really nice. I like the fact that it is senior-friendly. The bathtubs and the showers were really accommodating for getting in and out of showers and I like them. They were very COVID-conscious as we went through on the tour, so I was very appreciative of that.

We are very very much impressed with Affinity At Eagan. It exceeded our expectations, hands down we loved it. And their amenities were far above and beyond what other communities have. There was a pool, craft room, game room, bar, and there was also a wood shop. The rooms are smaller, but nice. Very well maintained and clean. It's spacious all around the area. They have like a patio grill area.

What I liked most about Affinity At Eagan was the friendliness of the people. They have many rooms to hold family private events, which is another plus because they're bigger facilities. What I liked the least was the fact that it was too big, so it doesn't fit our needs, but it would fit other people's needs. It has 92% occupancy so there are a lot of people around. The staff is very accommodating, very friendly, and they follow up. So I can't say anything bad about the staff because they're great. Since they're independent, meals are not provided. They cook in their own apartment. The appearance is very nice and there are a lot more amenities than the other place I went to. They have a pool and a gym.
