We were very impressed with Brookdale Eagan. I would recommend it. Victoria is a wonderful advocate for seniors. She was an impressive woman. The facility was small and intimate, and they had a lot of one-on-one participation for their clients. It's all memory care. We met one staff member and he seemed very nice. The facility seemed very nice. There were some workout equipment and some stationary bikes, but not extensive. They had some lovely patios for them to go out on. They allow pets. If somebody wants to have their dog with them, they're very good with that. The other thing that they have is a service where they will also take your pet out. If anybody wants to stay living with their pet and that's a problem for them to get them in and out, it's absolutely a perfect facility for that. They have craft events and they have music events. They have an extensive calendar.

I went to Brookdale Eagan. Victoria was the lady staff who gave the tour, and she gave me loads and loads of time. She has been in the care business her whole life. What I like best about Brookdale is the program that they have for the people. The rooms were fine. They're bigger because of the way the program works, so that was a little more satisfactory than the other place. It costs a little bit more, but they have a waiver for the elderly. That's very important because I'm not sure how much care my wife is going to need. There was a lot going on, and it looked like it was a very successful operation. The condition of the facility looked very good.

Physically, Brookdale Eagan was OK. It was kind of a smaller building. The general living space seems to be OK. The rooms were either studios or one-bedroom. They kind of moved the residents in and out of this one room. They would move them in to eat and have all the chairs, and then they would move all the chairs out and then do their activities, which seemed kind of odd to me. They did not have a lot of staff given how many people were there (we came probably at a time when they were eating). We met with the director and she was quite nice. I kind of felt like it was a sales job, rather than just "Let's talk about your program and what's going on." So, I was a little bit less impressed with that interview.

We chose Brookdale Eagan for the size of the community. It's a very small memory care-only community. That means all their staff are trained in dementia and memory care services. We like that a lot. All the staff there were so loving and so attentive to all residents when we visited. During the move-in, they were so helpful, above and beyond whatever we needed, and very friendly. And then once my mom moved in there, she can't say enough things about how nice everybody is. It was wonderful. They're working so hard to get the transition to happen smoothly. She has been a little rough with it, but they've been nothing but loving, kind, and patient with her. They have activities. They would do chair exercises, arm weights, and stretching, and they played bingo. There is also a memory recall game that they do but I don't know the name of it. They have a salon. My mom got her hair done already, and we're very, very happy with how she looked when she was done. They have a workout room, too. They have activities there that are specific to dementia care, which is interesting to see. They also have a room called a Solace Room that has three different programs that can help soothe somebody when they're having sundowning issues. It's a very beautiful, calming-looking room. They have a TV there where they can put videos of anything they like, like nature, cats or babies, and anything to help them if they're having trouble sleeping or if they're just having a rough night.

Brookdale Eagan is a very nice facility. It's quite large, which was not appealing to us, but it was very clean, and they were friendly. The people were very nice, everybody seemed helpful. It just was too large for our needs. The room seemed adequately sized, and there was a refrigerator in there. The bathroom had no shower, so there was a separate shower facility. They had activities that they would do. The staff who gave us the tour said they had a barbershop salon. We had decided that it probably wasn't going to be a good fit because of the size; I was more focused on keeping my father-in-law from getting quite overwhelmed by the number of people. We saw the dining area, it felt very cafeteria-like to us, but again, with the size of the facility, that was a necessity. It was just large, and I felt it was super loud. The staff were very nice, very helpful, and very encouraging, for us to keep looking if this isn't the right place.

I was not happy with Brookdale Eagan. They're a little disorganized, but that wasn't anybody's fault because I understand that the lady that was showing us around was new to it. She had transferred from someplace else. Her keys didn't work in the doors. It's completely a memory care facility. They didn't have kitchens, and they didn't have a shower in the rooms. They would have to go down the hall to get showers. Every place else we looked at had a shower right in the room, so that the patient wouldn't have to be transported to another area to shower. I didn't like that. It seemed older. It was nowhere near as nice as the other place, and it was about the same price. They were kind enough and nice enough. The security was what you would expect. Somebody has to let you in or out and everything was very secure. You had to sign in and wear a mask and take your temperature. They work very carefully. It was very clean, but it was dark. The amenities didn't meet the level of the other places. They had a little gathering area but it was on mismatched furniture. They had another little area with tables and stuff where you could have a family gathering, but it seemed very mismatched. The only thing I liked about it was they had a little porch area where their residents could garden if they wanted to, and I thought that was a nice touch.

My wife moved into Brookdale Eagan. Overall experience is very good, I am impressed. I like that it's strictly memory care, it is small, all on one level, and everyone is trained in dementia. It is a nice, clean, pretty facility. Her room is very pleasant, it's large enough for everything that she needs, there's two chairs, a large dresser, a bed, and a nice-sized bathroom. The dealings I've had with the staff have all been excellent. The activities are very limited at the present time because of COVID, but I know they were having bowling in the halls when I went to take the tour.

My father-in-law is a resident of Brookdale Eagan. They have been really good. We had difficulty finding a place for various reasons, but this is an Alzheimer's/dementia care place, so they take care of him and we are satisfied. The staff members have been very good. The room is adequate. It is a little on the smaller side, but it is just enough for his needs. As expected in a place like this, they don't have a shower for the residents, and they do the showering in the spa to reduce the risk of falls, but otherwise, there is enough room for a bed, a TV, and a table. For their model room, it was a live virtual room, but for this specific room, it was just pictures, and then they shared some more photos after we had the furniture dropped off. We couldn't go into the facility. Later on, we visited him in their courtyard, and we were separated by a plastic thing. The courtyard visit was fine. It was in the smaller courtyard, but there's a green space with tables and chairs. They had put two tables put together with an awning for shade, and we wore masks. They have a larger courtyard with trees and greenery, but we only virtually toured that one. It was a recorded virtual tour. We don't have a lot of experience with the place, but so far they have been pretty helpful. They're a very good staff. They do a good job with regards to the facility. Normally they have outings in non-COVID areas. In other words, before COVID came along, they had outings and such, but there are various activities they can stil do according to their calendar.

The staff at Brookdale Eagan was wonderful and knew what they were doing. There were approximately 45 units in there, and it's nice that it's all on one level. The right and left sides were mirror images of each other and the middle was set up like a little town. They had a community area and the people were watching the Kentucky Derby when we were there and they were all wearing derby hats. They work with Lifetime Fitness and they give the residents something to do or some kind of a purpose or job. The place was very clean and very nice, but we were looking for a much smaller place. The room was very nice and you can set it up however you like. It's a fine size room and it has a private bathroom. There is no shower in the bathroom because it can get dangerous for the residents to be on their own. They have showers in a separate room and there's staff members that go with them.

Our visit at Brookdale Eagan was good. It's a nice place. The rooms were OK, although they were small and not spacious. What I like about this community is that it's a small enough place for my parents to get individualized care. When we were there they had a recreational therapist doing some exercises with the group. They also have some mental stimulation stuff where they're all sitting in a circle, it's pretty cool. It seems like a nice, little community. The girl that toured us was this 70-year-old woman, and she was just lovely. She was great, and the recreational guy was pretty cool. We didn't see a lot aides and staff, so maybe that's a concern in the future. The person who gave us the tour was a neat lady. I liked her. They had some water damage on one of the areas where they had some fans going. They were trying to fix it, but it looked kind of weird.

Brookdale Eagan is a very caring place and they understand memory loss and how to deal with it. The staff is friendly and caring. The grounds are pleasing and it's well-located in the Southern Metro. My aunt's room is a good size and it's light and cheerful. The price is pretty comparable.

Brookdale is small with only 52 residents, which is what I like. It's a homey memory care facility. They have a lot of sitting areas to make it feel homey and courtyards. The staff is wonderful, and the food is good.

Brookdale was around 15 years old, pretty clean, didn’t smell, and the residents seemed happy and engaged. The staff I met was fine, but I wasn’t impressed at all.

My husband is a resident of Brookdale in Eagan. Before selecting this community I visited quite a few facilities for people with Alzheimers. Brookdale not only started at a lower cost, the atmosphere of the building is incomparable. There are no locked sections, the bedrooms are large and mostly single, the Town Square and the public rooms are comfortable and inviting. The staff, including administration, knows each one of the people who live there, and my husband is so happy. He calls it "heaven". I can relax. He has excellent care, the stimulation of other people around him, giving him what I, even hiring outside help, could never give to his quality of life. I am so grateful for my peace of mind, and the contentment of my husband.

Formerly Clare Bridge. If you are a very rich family place your loved one here & walk away & never look back. This facility is all about money & not the cares your loved one receives. If you go on Elderly Waiver because they have taken all your finances good luck on staying at this facility as they only allow 8 residents to be on Medical Assistance. They do have some good care givers but are short in that area. They over work them & they burn out over the amount of work they have to do. Other than caring for the Residents. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. Do your research tour every facility you can. Get the prices. Make sure your retainer you put down goes to the first months rent. Read the contract thru see if they can add to your fee every 30 days to see if your cost will go up. Also what percent it can go up each year. Get everything in writing and signed. Brookdale Communities are hudge very large they brag that they now have 120,000 residents.

I just loved Clare Bridge of Eagan. It was beautiful. The lady that runs it was so nice. She was beautiful, wonderful, warmhearted, and caring. If my mom wanted to go to assisted living, I would choose that place. They had tons of activities. The people there looked happy, and that made me happy.

Employees care about residents very much. They also get to know residents well and take time to get to know the family members. I wouldn't want her anywhere else.

We've performed at the Clare Bridge of Eagan many times. They are always so welcoming and so accommodating. The community is clean and nice, and the best part is the residents are wearing smiles.

The community, staff, and management had made what seemed to be an unmanageable, overwhelming, devastating time in me and my husband's life into a positive one. He receives the best of care there. We are beyond happy!

We had to move my husband from a memory care facility in Fargo which could no longer care for my husband. I can't tell you what a wonderful facility Clare Bridge is. The staff actually treat all of the residents like their own family. All of the staff is highly trained. It is very clean. My husband has settled in and doing very well.

This assisted living provider is where my grandparents stay and is a very nice place to stay. My grandpa is 82 now and has gotten alzheimer's disease so he is losing a lot of his memory. My grandma is getting older and she has a hard time walking and keeping watch over my grandpa so they decided to go to Clare Bridge. The staff there are all nice and very friendly. They do there job with a smile and that's really important. The facility is well built and very big. There is tons of space and stuff to do all the time. Overall my grandparents have said they really like it there and that's the most important thing!
