Duluth Heights Lodge is a wonderful place to live. It was my first choice. The staff is so caring and kind. From administration, to caregivers, kitchen staff and cleaners they all greet you by name. There is wide variety of activities to choose from each day. , A remodel was done this past year, everything is clean and fresh. The Lodge is set in the midst of trees with deer , fox and other wildlife. I wanted an apartment with a patio off my .apartment. I love that. I have a one bedroom apartment. I am in independent living p, but when I need assisted living I do not have to change apartments, a real plus for me. Food service is good and a nice variety. They ask residents for meal suggestions.. We have special meals from other countries each month and celebrate lots of holidays. I could not have chosen a better place!

We visited Duluth Heights Lodge Senior Living. It seemed homey. It was nice and centrally located from the rooms to everything that needed to be done. I wasn't there long enough to get a good grasp on much of anything. It was only an hour or two. They had a gym, salon, and a courtyard. It was very clean. It's near shopping and clinics.

Duluth Heights Lodge goes above and beyond in all areas. My father Jack felt welcome from the very first visit by all staff and residents. The rooms are great, the food is excellent, and the staff is the best! My father, as well as visiting family members, was treated with love and respect. Quality of care and compassion of nursing staff is top notch; which gives family members peace of mind knowing their loved one is being wonderfully cared for. Jack felt at home there knowing he was part of an awesome family unit, I only wish we would have moved him there sooner.

Duluth Heights Lodge Senior Living is a very lovely community. We weren't able to see an apartment because one wasn't available at the time of the tour. But we have a temporary appointment set up for Friday afternoon to go back and visit an apartment. The staff was very good. She pointed out everything. She told us what it was and what type of activity went on in that room or where the dining hall was. It was a very good tour. The dining area was very cheerful. There were little flowers on each table. It was empty, so I didn't see anybody in there. They had a place with lots of windows and you could look outside. It all looked very nice. We ran into one of the maintenance guys, and the staff introduced us to him. At one time we went in there to visit somebody. There was music playing on the second floor. They invited us to come to the second floor and join in listening to the music. On our tour, the staff showed us mostly the first floor. She showed us where a lot of the entertainment was. On that particular day, people were waiting because something was going to go on there shortly. The staff showed us the entry waiting room area, the kitchen, and the coffee room. She showed us the patio where they sit outside a lot. She showed us the chapel and the library, too. There was a nice area across from the coffee area that had little tables and chairs to sit in. They said they would serve you coffee out there if you would like. The front had a lot of flowers. It looked very nice. My friend told us that the food was good, and the helpers were really good and very nice. She likes it there.

We went to see Duluth Heights Lodge Senior Living, it all seemed very nice. The community seemed nice, the units, and apartments, all seemed a decent shape, and as far as I could tell, everything looked good. The staff who gave the tour was Kelly, she was very nice, very pleasant, and very informative. The rooms were all nice and well-kept, they all seemed good-looking. Just from peering into all the people in the dining area, it looked like it was a nice place. We've seen some of the amenities and it looks like they had a fair amount of activities scheduled. We saw the physical fitness area and the hairdresser area, and it all looks good to me.

I toured Duluth Heights Lodge Senior Living. I thought it was an excellent place. I just looked at independent living. It was a very nice place, very clean and very organized. The rooms were spacious. In the room they showed me, the bathroom was huge, and the bedroom closet was big enough to put another bed in. They had a kitchen sink and a refrigerator in them, and the girl told me that they have others that have full cooking facilities. I was impressed with the place. It was laid out nice. It was laid out that wherever you were, you don't have to walk a long way to the dining room, to the office, or the common areas. They were all right in the center of everything, so you don't have to walk long ways to get to anything. The staff who took me around was very friendly and very helpful.

My dad has moved into Duluth Heights Lodge Senior Living. He has his own apartment with living room, bedroom, and kitchenette. There is no stove because they don't want him cooking. I have tried their food. They have a chef instead of a cook, and the food is very good. They do card games. They do movies there, and they have a theater room. He hasn't participated into anything yet. They have nice dining rooms. There is a room that has a fireplace, and you can go sit and visit with people. They have a physical therapy facility and a small store there. They have a happy hour every Thursday. We have been very happy with the staff. The facility is very bright, open, and clean. They worked with us. My dad ended up going there a week later than expected, and they were willing to work with us on finances.

My tour at Duluth Heights Lodge Senior Living was very nice. We were met at the door by John and he took us through the building and into the assisted living area. He's very knowledgeable. It's a very nice place and very clean. The residents all said hello and smiled as well as the staff. They were all very friendly and nice. We walked to the kitchen and the chef and the worker there all smiled and said hello and John told us that the food was very good. They stepped things up. It wasn't good for a while, but they got this new chef and things are much better. We went to the assisted living area for people to sit and have coffee any time of day if they'd like or meet to read or to play games or whatever. The nurses' station is right there by the assisted living area, and there's full-time nursing there. We saw the rooms. We saw one room that was a studio and that was one big room with a large bath and toilet area. We also saw another room, which was a two-room, one room for living room and one room for a bedroom and then the bathroom. They're very nice, spacious rooms and very clean. We went to the exercise area where there's equipment that the residents can use and also they have classes, so some of the residents come for exercise time. We went upstairs where there's a big community room that's used for socials and for people that come in and play music for them. It's also used for private parties. It's very nice, spacious and well lit. The nice thing is that all rooms have windows out towards the woods. The building is surrounded by woods, so it's a pleasant place to be. I have been there several times before to visit people. We have friends that are living there now and have been there for socials and other events and thought it was very, very nice. John was very pleasant, very helpful, and answered any questions we had. It was my sister, my daughter, and myself that went on the tour and any questions we had, he was very knowledgeable and answered the questions completely. It was a very comfortable tour. We felt very comfortable with John.
