"My grandpa lives in this facility. Our family has been very impressed with the services he has been receiving. He has consistent nurses that check in on him in a timely manner. This allows my grandpa to form relationships with the nurses that are taking care of him. Additionally, it has a very comfortable atmosphere that allows my grandpa to feel as though he is living his everyday life. The staff is extremely friendly and our family is beginning to develop personal relationships with the caregivers. Also, the manager of the residence does his best to visit him on a weekly basis and check on his progress. This allows my grandpa to feel very welcomed and part of the community. Our family feels very strong that we have chosen the right home for him and would highly recommend this residence. "

"My tour at Aspire Senior Living was very good. It was an excellent experience. It's well-staffed. It's a very nice facility. They had a wide variety of rooms, from a small studio to a two-bedroom, and they're very spacious. The facility manager I met with spent a lot of time explaining to me the financial end of things, not just for their facility, but for seniors in Wisconsin in general. The amenities seemed adequate."

"Primrose Retirement Community of Appleton was real nice. They had two-bedrooms and everything was new and in good shape. The layout was OK too. They had some washers and dryers. The only thing that I thought that they were missing was the coat closet and a pantry room. We only talked to the chef and never got to taste the food."

"My in-laws reserved at Touchmark. They chose it for basically the amenities that it has. It has a meal included and transportation. And if they need assisted living, they received it right there. Activities include cards for the gentlemen, game nights, events depending on the time of stay, and Christmas and New Year holidays. In the basement, there is a workshop to continue working on any of their skills. I think they will be happy there. They chose a 2-bedroom and 1 bath with a dining area. Availability is a factor at the time they chose it. "

"The people were very friendly and helpful. It's a beautiful facility and the cost was probably the cheapest of what I looked at. It's really the best place. They have almost like a restaurant where the residents go in and have choices on their menu. They have an on-site beauty salon and an on-site church, which was very important to my mother. There's a community room which you can reserve for family functions. The apartments had full kitchens and bathrooms. It's very nice. The food is very good, well-prepared, and the serving size is perfect. There's a big variety of activities, like a bus that takes them out to look at fall colors and to go shopping if they want. There are also activities right at the place all the time."

"Lakeside Commons has a good location. There are nice residents there. Most of the people are very friendly but a lot of them stick to themselves, too. They play bingo on Wednesdays. There are trips to the grocery stores but there is no other trip. They should have more activities. "

"I moved into Golden Venture Apartments. The price and the location were right, so I grabbed it as soon as I could. I'm just as happy as I can be here. I am in an efficiency apartment, which is quite small. But as long as I can get things in here and still live, that's all that matters to me. Everything is very well arranged, and everything works. I keep myself busy by doing crafts. They play bingo. We make our own food. This is a security-locked building, so we don't have to worry about people coming in and disturbing us, and that's good. I've had a lot of help from these people. They could use better cleanliness. Everything in this apartment is included, like heat, water, utilities, and cable. They go according to your income. I'm very happy."

"Island Shores had a lot of natural light and a variety of different styles, sizes, and layouts of apartments. The residents seem to be happy, and the staff is polite. They had a library, den area, and exercise room. The activities were posted."

"I chose Valley VNA Senior Care for my mother-in-law because of its cost and location. It's welcoming and spacious. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We looked at the menu and we were there during a meal. We did not have a meal, but the food looked very good. They do their best to personalize individual requests as needed."

"I have been here at Highlands for five years and I liked it very much. Everyone is friendly and very nice community. We have our own apartments and they have activities that you can sign up for. It’s a high end community and very expensive. I have a huge apartment with a fireplace and great room. It’s very nice and you have to be independent to live here. They have underground parking and building 51 new units. Grocery store is right next to us. It’s really a lovely place. "

"Bella Vista was very nice. They had a lot to offer, and the price was reasonable. The hallways were very nice and clean. They had transportation to different places. The only thing I didn’t like was the layout of the room. The staff was very nice. "

"My husband and I visited Evergreen's independent living a few weeks ago and liked it quite well. I thought it was nice, and it seemed like a lot was going on all the time. We saw one apartment. We wanted a 2-bedroom, and we liked how they just finished cleaning it up. They do that when people leave. We saw people coming in for activities, and I think a lot was going on. The staff who showed us around was very good. He was very nice and accommodating."

"We visited Aspire Senior Living Oshkosh, which is a new facility. It was a gorgeous, beautiful facility with modern technology. They have available room monitoring, so they can tell if someone falls. In the toilets, they can detect urinary tract infections and other things through technology in the toilet. It's very, very high-end. They have levels of care, they had a separate memory care unit, and they have independent living in the same building. It was a beautiful campus. They cost a little bit more than other places. When you walk in, they have a gathering space, they have a coffee bar, and TVs. They had walking paths built into the property through the woods, and they have a fitness area. It was all exceptional. They had 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom available in the independent living, and the memory care is a separate wing. They had room for 35 patients and were half-full at the time."

"The rooms are very clean and the staff makes the residents feel wanted and appreciated. Residents can also take advantage of all of the great activities in the assisted living building."
