I keep myself busy by doing crafts. They play bingo. We make our own food. This is a security-locked building, so we don't have to worry about people coming in and disturbing us, and that's good. I've had a lot of help from these people. They could use better cleanliness. Everything in this apartment is included, like heat, water, utilities, and cable. They go according to your income. I'm very happy."

"Primrose Retirement Community of Appleton was real nice. They had two-bedrooms and everything was new and in good shape. The layout was OK too. They had some washers and dryers. The only thing that I thought that they were missing was the coat closet and a pantry room. We only talked to the chef and never got to taste the food."

You couldn't have asked for anything more. It was a two-bedroom, two-bath, and it had its own stackable washer and dryer, full kitchen, living room, and balcony. It was super nice. Everything looked very well maintained and everything was clean. It looked like they took care of the place quite well. They had a workout facility and a place to get your haircut, they had different classes available, like movement type classes, and they had this gorgeous large TV room where they could have a movie night. They had everything imaginable. It was definitely a resort type of facility."

So they have pretty good variety of prices and sizes of rooms at Appleton. The staff is very kind and very helpful. I think that they have a lot of people on staff. There is always somebody to help, somebody to talk to, and somebody to ask about stuff. There is always somebody to help my mom. They have all kinds of activities going on. They have movie nights and bingo nights. They have shopping trips and trips to local baseball teams and games. Regarding the food, they give everyone a choice of two or three entrees for each meal. Overall, the only complaint I have is that they are really overambitious with their sales tactics. They are really in your face and a little overbearing. "

"The place is pretty much all inclusive. They started with senior housing and they have an assisted living. The food was excellent. The staff was very caring. It has a lot of amenities. It has a beautiful setting and very quiet. It's a really nice place. They also have a shuttle that takes you to shopping. "
