"The staff here at Emerald Bay Assisted Living is very caring. I'm fairly independent but I could press a button anytime and they are quick to come in and help me with medication, moving around, or just anything that I would need. They're wonderful. I have nice window views and I see birds, I love birds. The place is beautiful, there's a big fireplace in the center of the living area and you could sit around it day and night, all year round, it's very comfortable. We're supposed to be eating in the dining room and it's so beautiful. Each table is set up so that you eat with the same people, you're surrounded with people that you know so that's nice. I just haven't been able to get to dinner very much because I haven't felt very well but they're very good to bring a tray to my room. The food is good too. For the money you pay, the place is very wonderful."

"I visited Brookview Meadows. The rooms were OK and adequately sized. They had three meals a day. "

"I'm living at Wayside Parkview Estates. It's a smaller facility. It has 18 apartments and they're all the same size. My room is very nice, and it is very comfortable. I like the homey atmosphere and the home cooking. They serve family style. Because of its size, you get to know everybody by their first name, including the employees. The one that I really enjoy a lot is singing. There's a group that comes in twice a month and since I enjoy singing, I get to sing along with them. The rest of the residents sing along too. I enjoy Bingo very much, and I play several times a week. We have exercises and they always have music with them. They have activities where we can participate in making things. The food is always good, it's home cooked, and it has no fancy names. The staff is extremely cordial. Everybody is known by their first name and they are very comfortable with the residents and vice versa. I really like the place. There seems to be enough going on, so much so that you may not be able to participate in everything. It's an outstanding facility."

"We looked here and I liked the common areas, the room size, and the location. She was very helpful and accommodating with all of my questions. I actually chose them originally, but as things progressed with my mother during that time, things changed and they were eventually unable to accept her there. This would have probably been my first choice. I liked the layout of Building I. It seemed that they would be able to meet all of my mother's needs at that time. The rooms were all studio type units. "

"The rooms are adequate. The food is awful. There are no activities. There are no housekeepers. I couldn't get help with anything. They constantly messed up my medications and towards the end of my stay they didn't have my medications. Some staff were nice, most were abusive. Glad I left"

"Care Partners Assisted Living in Appleton is a very nice place. We got a good feeling about the place and it was positive. The staff was very good. It seemed like they have a good assortment of activities."

"Oak Park Place Menasha is an excellent location. The building is very modern and has excellent ventilation. The heat is perfect. Most of the people here are very friendly. By and by, 90% of them are excellent. They have amenities. You name them, they have them available, like a salon. Not everybody uses them because you got your own things you brought in. The food is really good. They give you an option every day and what you want the next day. If you can't eat that or something, they offer other things for you. So, it's excellent from that standpoint. My apartment is also excellent. I had a lot of checking before I moved here and this is by far the best for the space, the apartment, and everything. I'm sitting in an area where there's sunshine on three sides of me and it looks out all the windows. The windows I got are the kind of those that would stick out from the building. There's one in the front and then two on the side. I got one of those in the main room and the living room, and they're both good-sized windows. The only problem is getting people to do what they need to do, but everybody's doing the best they can with the staff they have here and they are really good. If you check with anybody in this field or people that are providing this kind of assistance to us, that's the problem. They don't have enough people to do it. I just hope that more people will get involved in providing this assistance to us. We need it. We need people to help us."

"My mother moved to Emerald Shores. The care is very good and we're very happy with her there. Her room is very nice and has new carpeting; we're happy with it. She has memory issues, but the staff tries to keep her involved as much as possible. Their food is good. It's just a small community. They didn't have a specific library, but they have a lot of lounge areas. It's just about 20 beds and is in a rural area northeast of Wisconsin. They have outdoor areas."

"It is a small facility with 15 patrons. The staff is just superb. A plus about this community is that my doctor is from Bellin and Bellin Clinic is right across the street. I would give the place a top grade all the way. Everyone is so caring. I usually make my bed after I get up, and one day, I got dressed and washed up and went down for breakfast intending to make my bed when I came back, and when I got back to my room, my bed was already made."

"I went to Care Partners Assisted Living in Hortonville. The setting is beautiful. There are plants and fountains out the windows, and there are patios. It's in a very, very nice area with lots of land. It's not like in the neighborhood. It's got land around it. The director was thorough in her tour, totally knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions. When I called her back since then, she answered all my questions. They have a craft room. They have movies with popcorn and soda. According to the neighbors and people I know, the high school, middle school, and grade school come in. They try to get somebody in once a month to do some little performance or something for the people in the assisted living so that they have some kind of entertainment."

"My mom stayed at Renaissance (Assisted Living in De Pere / Green Bay) for rehab for six weeks, and it's a good, new place. They have good care and good food. They have very nice rooms for handicapped people, and the staff is very friendly and caring."

"Overall, this facility is wonderful. It is located in a quiet, residential area with little noise. There are two separate buildings, but both are top notch in their design and appearance. The interiors are beautifully and tastefully decorated, the staff is warm and personable, and the individual rooms are well designed. The staff work closely with the residents to assist them and are very cheerful. The dining room and social area and spacious and inviting and the facility puts on different events each day. "

"I'd recommend Artisan Assisted Living to anybody. They help whenever they can, and they're there for the families, too. They have a lot of activities and keep them active all day long. The food is very good. The staff is always friendly and smiling. My husband is in assisted living."
