"My in-laws moved into Wayside Parkview Estates, and so far we're very pleased. The staff is really nice, caring, the meals have been excellent, and the facility is very clean and well kept. I know they usually have one social hour a month. They invite other people to come in, they have an exercise almost every day, they have entertainment coming in, especially through the holidays, and they offer craft activities. The staff follows up on residents who miss their meals, but they could also get my in-laws more involved in activities. They always offer alternatives for the meals, and they're very open to making sure the residents get something they like. It's one of the nicest facilities I've been in, the price is really good, and it was the cheapest place we went to visit. The care the residents are getting is excellent."

"I went to Angels Touch Assisted Living. It was a little bit more of a dementia ward. So that was a reason why that one didn't work out. It was a beautiful facility, but Mom and Dad were not at that point where they were having a lot of dementia issues or whatever. Ryan who is the manager or director there, we both agreed that Mom and Dad weren't at the right place for that. It was way more dementia care. And the big thing was that my dad couldn't have his car there. The facility was amazing. Ryan was upfront and super friendly. I was kind of sad my parents couldn't go there. I didn't look at the rooms because they were for single people, so my dad could not live there with my mom. They showed me the community center. I went up into a hallway, and the rooms were more like a nursing home room where you had a bed, a TV, and a chair or two. Regarding upkeep, it was very nice. Everything was painted. As the people move out of their rooms, they update the whole room, taking all the carpeting out and all that kind of stuff. They're doing a nice job updating."

"I went to Care Partners Assisted Living in Hortonville. The setting is beautiful. There are plants and fountains out the windows, and there are patios. It's in a very, very nice area with lots of land. It's not like in the neighborhood. It's got land around it. The director was thorough in her tour, totally knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions. When I called her back since then, she answered all my questions. They have a craft room. They have movies with popcorn and soda. According to the neighbors and people I know, the high school, middle school, and grade school come in. They try to get somebody in once a month to do some little performance or something for the people in the assisted living so that they have some kind of entertainment."

"My husband moved into the Allouez Parkside Village two weeks ago. It's very good. I have five other relatives that had loved ones there and they recommended it highly. It was built by a Belgian. We live in a Belgian community and I felt good that it was a Belgian man that started it. The staff that I have contact with, Heidi, Holly, and Debbie are great and have been very good people to work with. It's far from my house, but it's in Green Bay and all his doctors are in Green Bay. It's very easy and accessible. It's open, cheery, very clean, smells good, and the staff is very friendly. I think the food is good and healthy."

"I toured Patient Pines Assisted Living. It was amazing. It's a very clean facility, and has extremely nice staff. The information that they provided was upfront and great. They're not a la carte. Everything was included, including the showering. Everything was all in one place, which was wonderful. They have a beautiful courtyard. The common area and the dining area were very nice."

"Emerald Bay Retirement Community was a beautiful place. They were very friendly and very informative, but when it came down to putting mom on the waiting list, there's just no way we can afford it. Otherwise, she'd be there now. The facility was very clean and very nice. If that's the way it is all the time, the place is perfect. There's nothing bad I could say about it, other than the fact that after everything is done and we were through with the tour, I called back to get mom on the waiting list, and I was informed that it's $2,500 to put her on the waiting list and they won't put her on the waiting list until they receive the check. They never said anything about that when we were going through the tour. Tyler was excellent. He was very informative and very polite, and everybody seemed to like him. Everybody was talking to him. Even the rest of the staff was friendly."

"The staff has done a great job keeping us informed during these difficult times. They really seem to care about their residents. They did a great job getting my mom adjusted to her new surroundings. I feel she is safe and well taken care of."

"My friend and I went to see Moraine Ridge Senior Living. I thought it was very nice and clean. The dining area was kind of dark. The rooms were very nice. They showed us the library, and the exercise room, and then we saw the patio. The staff was very good."

"Our father has been at Caring Hands for one year. We can't say enough about Caring Hands, the facility and their staff have all been excellent. Their name really depicts who they are.. "Caring Hands". The rooms and whole facility are beautiful and well maintained, the food is wonderful, they have a variety of activities and services. The staff is great to work with; caring, professional, respectful to each other and residents. It really feels like we are all a big family. "My uncle is at St. Paul Elder Services. For the most part, it's been very good. The only thing is that once we finally got him set up to go in there, it was a little difficult to get a hold of people, and to get phone calls back. Other than that, his care seems to be great; the staff seems great. He's very happy and satisfied there. Overall, it's been a pretty good experience. We haven't been inside because of Covid, but it's a pretty nice facility."

"This assisted living center is located right off of the main highway going in to the south side of the city. It's located in a residential area, but I found it to be quite noisy inside because of all of the traffic going through the area and kids coming home from school. KindredHearts is a chain of assisted living centers, so it is fairly predictable in terms of quality of service and facilities. The building is in decent shape but could use some renovations, and I was a little unimpressed with the odor of the building. Each resident has ample privacy and there are community areas for activities. The residents I interacted with seemed to be happy and enjoying themselves. They were all looking forward to dinner, so I assume the food was adequate. There is a full-service clinic about one mile down the road. Compared to other centers in the area, though, I wasn't that impressed with KindredHearts. "
