Waterford Estates is very large, a little older, but the location has a freeway on one side and a very busy highway on the other. It was not as clean, and the independent living was in the old part of the facility. The hallway smelled of smoke, and that was a detriment.

I chose Waterford Estates because it's nice, and I like where they do their activities. They have buses that get you to the bank, grocery store, and whenever you need to go. Their staff is great and very professional. They have big grounds and a big building for assisted living, and across the street are townhomes for independent living. Their pricing is a little high, but they have nice things. I have been to other places, but this is the best I've seen, and it has the nicest facilities among all of them.

Waterford Estates is an older place but it’s kept-up, clean, and maintained. The staff is good; I don’t have trouble with them. The rooms are spacious, and shuttles can take you to casinos or wherever you want to go.

Part of the reason why we moved her to Waterford Estates was because she would just be about 25 minutes away from me and I am able to get there more often. There's a lot more for her to do there if she chooses to get involved with the activities. They do have a beauty salon in the facility, and an ice cream parlor. I liked the fact that it's a bigger place. The residents are so nice. It's a very friendly place. If the residents have issues, it seems like it does get taken care of. I think it's a great place.

My dad has only been in Waterford Estates for a week but he is adjusting well. I like this facility because it is close to our house and it has everything from independent living to memory care. The place is huge, it has a working room and an exercise room. They also have many common areas where residents can interact with one another. They have one with a fireplace, which is very nice during the winter. The facility also has a physical therapy area in the assisted care, but he could use that if he chose to. My dad's two-bedroom apartment has a garage, a kitchen and a porch. It's very affordable for this type of apartment. The facility also allowed him to keep his three dogs, which is good. Everybody loves the place, they're all friendly. It's a wonderful facility.
