My wife was at Engel Haus. It was a excellent care for the time she was there. The people that were working there were very helpful. Everything went fine with them. It was clean, and it was okay. There was good food and regular meals three times a day. It was well handled, too. They had a library, they had therapists who come in to visit my wife every couple of days to help her with her health problem. They had bingo and they had a band playing at different times. They had a card game going for the people, too. They had medical people and nurses who check in on my wife routinely. They were always checking to make sure that everything was okay. For the money, it's good.

Engel Haus Senior Living is a great place to be. It looked good. My husband is gonna go there in a week. They had games, readings, field trips, and walks. With COVID, they can't do a lot, but they allow visitation twice a week. I didn't meet a lot of the staff. I just sat with one person and I've met the RN, and she's very nice. The facility was beautiful.

Guardian Angels (Engel Haus) got five or six facilities, and this one just opened about a year-and-a-half ago. It’s something that I liked, but I didn’t like the price. It has big rooms and lot of amenities. The only thing they didn’t have was underground parking. The rooms were very large, and I liked the way they were laid out. It’s something that I could live with.

We’ve placed mother in Engel Haus. It has been very good. She does have her own apartment. Because the facility was new, the apartments are extremely clean, and it made it a little bit easier for her to meet new people. The staff is very caring, and they go out of their way to involve the people in the activities. They have coffee and cookies every afternoon at 2 o’clock. They have Wii bowling and sing-alongs. They’ve had local community actors come in. They’re doing a talent show.
