Housekeeping ,laundry, barber and beauty shop with three meals offered daily as well as snacks and coffee. There is continuity in the care personal. Find that the elderly or memory impaired love to see a familiar face to help them with personal care. This is why Cedar Crest is rated a four in my book. Thank you. "

"I visited Suite Living of Anoka. It's clean and nice. The person during the tour was nice. The room was good. We didn't see the meals, but the dining room was good, and it was clean. It seemed to have enough activities. There were group games, crafts, and church."

"Stoney River Assisted Living & Memory Care is a very nice facility. It looks like the care is very good, so it is a contender. The apartments were very nice. They showed us the common rooms and everything that would pertain to a memory care facility such as community rooms, kitchens, sitting rooms, information rooms, and a library. The outdoor facility was probably better than the other place just because they had a courtyard where residents could walk in and not have to worry about leaving the building."

"My mom moved into Personal Care Senior Living - Andover. It's a brand-new facility. It just opened up two weeks ago. The people are really sweet and very nice. One of the nurses actually brought my mom to her doctors' appointment, and I thought that was really nice. They did make some stuff for 4th of July, and they made some bird feeder ornaments to hang on the trees. They keep them busy doing fun activities. There's a courtyard and they will be getting a hairstylist."

"Moun Zion is a very quiet and clean home with very caring staff, food quality is good, rooms are cleaned daily, staff are always willing to assist the resident. I love this home."

"The rooms are older and small. The care is moderately good. The biggest complaint is that we purchased new comfortable clothing for him and within a week all but one item we purchased “disappeared” never to be seen again. They also “lost” a sweatshirt that was very dear to him. It is obvious that they randomly distribute clothing to other patients as we often arrived and he was wearing items that were not his own. I would be very wary of this place."

"I had an in-person tour of the Haven at Peace Village. I sort of like the place because it's on the way home. I could go by easily, so I could stop more often. It was a really nice place. I was impressed with the rooms, and I would have put my parents there. The staff was very nice and well informed, told me a lot about their food services, and their choices for meals. The dining room looked very nice. It was well set up. It looked like it had everything you needed. They had one or two choices for meals."

"We went to visit Suite Living of Brooklyn Park and toured for memory care. One of the things that we didn't like about it was that the rooms were way too small. They also have an outdoor area, but it is not well shaded, and there aren't many trees. It seemed clean, though. I don't recall that it smelled funny or anything. The dining room in the memory care is also spacious for the residents' needs. The person who gave the tour was very professional."

"I visited many centers in my search for the best place for my wife. When we got there she didn't even want to go inside. I was afraid that was the beginning of the end and my guilt was magnified. Now, 3 months later, she considers it home and loves it there. She told me on a recent visit that it was nice to have me home. When I told her what a beautiful home she has she simply said"I know I do. The staff, food and facility itself are outstanding. I know I made the right choice. It isn't cheap, but it's worth every penny to me to know that she is happy and well cared for. I can't say enough about the quality of the care she receives."

"My mother was a patient there. The staff was compassionate and caring. The leadership was attentive to suggestions for improvement. The rooms are small and the amount of natural light was limited. The food was good. "

"My tour at Ecumen Litchfield was good. It was a smaller town, so that was good. The staff that gave the tour was very helpful. The rooms or apartments were good, it's a little older construction but you really couldn't tell. It was very nice. I didn't try the food but their dining area was fine, it had adequate space and it seemed reasonable. They had some patio space. Because it was an older construction, it was more within the neighborhood, so it wasn't as spread out as the other one I toured, which was newer."

"I like it a lot. It was clean and very pleasant. Sarah, the person who talked with us, was kind, understanding, and wonderful. She was a loving person. We have two dogs, and she was willing to give us the ground floor and then have a little terrace and open up a gate so we can take them out for their potty trips. I love it. Yesterday, they had tacos, nachos, and a gift shop. It was great."
