There's nothing I did not like about Ingham County Medical Care Facility. When I first walked in, the atmosphere was kind of warm and welcoming. The service personnel were very helpful and friendly. The facility was very clean. It had a nice home-feel setup. The residents that I had seen there seemed to be at ease and be taken care of. Everything I've seen about the facility seemed to be very friendly. If I ever had to go, that's where I would want to go. That would be my first choice for my husband's care if I have to end up having him go. The staff answered questions and were attentive and concerned with my concerns and needs. It's very nicely laid out. The size of the room was very comfortable and nice and the layout was nice. There was plenty of space for what was needed for the individual and visiting guests. I'm very impressed with everything about the facility. I don't have any bad things to say about it.

My wife was at Ingham County Medical Care Facility. She passed away. It was a very nice place, but they don't have senior living there. That is a nursing home. I like the place. If I have to go to a nursing home, I definitely go there. The staff is excellent. The food is mediocre. The building is pretty modern. They have everything there, and my wife enjoyed it there very much. They have bingo, movies, and games. It is a very well-run place, except they just don't have a very good cook. The facility is very well kept.

Everything about this facility is welcoming. The staff are always smiling and helpful. The food is amazing, they really take a lot of pride in trying to honor what every resident wants and I always try to come during lunch time so I can eat too. By far the one thing that stands out is the activity department. I have visited other friends in nursing homes and the activity department here is over the top and engaged.

Ingham County is very clean, but the staff bicker with each other. The food is often delivered cold. The activities are nice, adequate, or a little bit more than the others.

I found Ingham County Medical Care Facility to provide excellent care and therapy. Those working directly with patients such as doctors, nurses, tech and physical therapist were outstanding. There was a joyful team effort given from those in direct contact with residences. Was very dissappointed in the Directors who had the power to make final decisions that did not reflect the best interest of patients or recommendations of professionals with direct contact with patients. Their decision proved to bring unnecessary pain and prolonged recovery rather than health, healing and wholeness which should be the goal for all medical care facilities

Ingham County Medical Care was a very good place, except they made my husband leave too soon. The care was good. The staff has very good work ethics, and the food was very good, too. He had a semi-private room, and it was adequate but on the small side.
