Our parents received the best personal care one could possible ask for from a care home. Every staff member is committed to their role in helping your loved one thrive each day. Meds and other timely care support is executed with ease. We highly recommend PL for memory care and other medical situations. Our only regret is not making the move earlier for our parents.

We went to tour Courtyard Manor of Howell and that facility, I believe, is only licensed for 20 people, so the assisted and memory care were all in one facility. When you go in there, they have a base rate of how much it costs to move in, but then they have a care level rate. It's care level 1 through 5 and they would have to tell me what care level dad was at. It was kind of like a house with additions on both sides of it. It was in a nice setting, but the rooms were very tiny, and barely enough room for a bed and a dresser. They had a lot of shared rooms, and I would never put my dad in a shared room that was very cramped for space. The staff seemed great. They were on the floor with people. They were helping them eat and things like that. It seemed like they had a good staff. The facility appeared to be fairly clean. It kind of smells like a rest home though where you smell a lot of wet and poopy diapers.

I knew the first time I visited Patti Lewis that this was by far the best place for my mom. This lovely facility has the most compassionate and caring staff.I am overwhelmed with the amount of care given to each resident including my mom.I can rest knowing she is in good hands when I am not there.

I liked it that it was small facility. It had only about twenty to twenty five patients. It was a very clean. The staff was friendly and loving to their patients. They took care of their patients very well. They were very nice. Their rooms were spacious enough and decorated nicely. The food was excellent and the patients all seemed happy there.
