The Cottage of Davison

Our family was faced with having to make an emergency placement of our father & mother in April of this year. We live 2,500 miles away so do not have any local connections or people who could have helped us find a great place. We are so blessed that The Cottage of Davison was able to take both parents and keep them together. There is no better place!! The staff treated them with love and respect and made sure that every need was taken care of. Everyone from the cooks to the facility manager treated my parents like they were their own. The facility was always clean and orderly and the staff was always engaged with the residents whether it was doing crafts or helping with exercise. They always made themselves available when ever we were able to visit. Melissa and Jordan went out of their way to help us set up zoom meetings when we couldn't be there and sent videos to us. If you are in a position to find a memory care facility The Cottage of Davison should be your first choice and the only choice!!

The Cottage of Davison was very bright and colorful. It seemed quite secure. But I felt that my dad wasn't at that level where he needed that kind of care. The staff who gave me the tour was very informative and seemed to have a good relationship with the people that were there. The rooms are small, but they're all done nicely and the patients seem comfortable.

It's been five weeks since my husband moved in at Cottage of Davison, and they have a well-trained staff. They are experienced with behavioral issues. It’s a very friendly place. The staff treats the residents wonderfully, and the facility itself is very nice. The food appeared to be great. The activities are many and various. They do a lot of things with the residents, as far as keeping them involved in good activities.
