I'm moving into The Willows at Worcester. It has a lot of updated things, whereas the other place does not. The kitchen is nicer. It's a full kitchen, but it's small. The Willows at Worcester is nice. I am getting a two-bedroom, two bath. I don't need it that big, but the one-bedroom was a little bit too small for me. I met a lady named Joan, and she was awesome. My power of attorney came with me, and we expected to spend an hour there, but we ended up spending a little over two hours there because she went through everything. It was really thorough, and we went through the whole facility. She was really, really thorough. She was very nice and very courteous when it came to me, when I needed to sit down and rest. She was very nice and polite, totally 100 percent all the way around. The main things I like are the saltwater pool and the Jacuzzi, because it'll be great for my back. They also have exercise rooms. They have a barbershop, hairdressing, a massage area, a movie theater, and a place for theater arts. They also have a billiard room, a ping pong room, a game room, a nice library, a bar, and a big lounge area. And there's outside barbecuing in places where people can sit or walk. There's gardening. If you feel like doing your own vegetables and stuff they have a place for that for you.

I toured The Willows at Worcester. We had a meal there, and I found that the energy level of the dining room did not compare with the energy in the dining room at the other place. The surroundings from my vantage point did not meet with my expectations. The other place was like a transfer from home to home, but I did not feel that warmness when I went to The Willows. We visited a couple of apartments. One of apartments was overlooking where the boilers and all the utilities are. All you were looking at was an ugly roof and blacktop parking area, which didn't turn me on at all. The day that we went there, they had a Mexican theme. The chef and the sous chef prepared everything. It was a very typical Mexican menu. The food was very palatable. However, the energy in the dining room did not measure up with the same level of energy of the people when I visited the other facility. They showed me the gym. It was adequate, but it was small. They also had a lovely swimming pool, but it was not the same the other place. I don't want to undersell them because some people go there, and they love it. For me, it just wasn't my fit. Their staff was very accommodating, although we didn't get to see much of the staff. The chefs were there in the dining room, and they were very pleasant. The young ladies that were serving us were very pleasant also.

We toured The Willows at Worcester and saw their independent living. We liked it and I think my parents liked it, too. It's just that they're not ready. They were wonderful. The facility is beautiful and they have everything anybody would ever need. The apartments were beautiful. They have all different selections to choose from, the sizes and what you have. It's worth checking out. The location is perfect too. It's quiet, it's in a residential area, and it's just great.

We have been to the Willows in Worcester. The facility was very nice. The staff was also very nice. The rooms looked pleasant. It's spacious and has lots of light. They have lots of activities, too. The person who showed me around was very helpful. Some residents have their gardens and outdoor patios. One of the rooms that we saw had an outdoor patio, too.

We visited The Willows at Worcester for my parents. The place was very clean and very up-to-date. The other facility had all levels of care right on the same campus, as opposed to The Willows that did not, and so for my parents who were moving from New York, if they needed another level of care, it would be another facility again, and that would be traumatic for them. They have a pool, a gym, and a library. I think they have all kinds of activities, but they did not have vehicles that take your parents around the campus.

At The Willows at Worcester, the rooms were extremely nice, and the place looked very nice. We liked everything about it. It was large, well kept, and relatively new. The lady that showed us around was extremely pleasant. Their dining area was very nice, but we did not have a meal there. They have a library and a swimming pool. They have outside transportation to pick people up and take them places. However, the facility was too expensive for us to afford.

I'm moving in to The Willows in a couple of weeks. I met some of the people, and I had a meal there; it was altogether very positive. Some friends of mine are there, so I will have company. It is close to the city where I've lived for 40 years, and I will be able to continue my contact with the people that I know. The people working there are outstanding. The community is not too expensive. The food is good. The arrangement and the activities that the Willows offers are interesting. The apartments are attractive and so are the houses that they have.
