My sister moved into Kaplan in December of last year and it immediately became apparent that it was a good move. I noticed how happy and comfortable the residents appeared. Unfortunately my sister became very ill and passed in April. In the few months she was there and in Brudnick rehab next door, the staff was incredible and caring. I never worried about her being there or what assistance she was receiving. The entire staff from the director down was very responsive to me whenever I had questions or concerns. The nursing staff is amazing. I will always be grateful to the Kaplan family for the love and care they gave my sister. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing their services.

We are leaning toward Harriett And Ralph Kaplan Estates for my mom. It had nice facilities, attentive staff, and options for long-term care. The staff was very involved in patient care. There are a lot of activities like music, art classes, and outside trips.

I saw all the levels of care at Harriet & Ralph Kaplan Estates, and I thought it was very nice. It looks very clean and it looks very well organized. The staff that I met there was very friendly. They had a list of activities on the wall and it looked like they had a nice variety; they did a little bit of everything. When I read it, I thought it was very nice. The dining area was very pretty and very nice. The gentleman that helped me was wonderful and I thought the facility was beautiful.

Our family is happy to share that this facility is superb in every way. The aids are extraordinary, and our mother feels safe and happy there. She participates in the many activities when she is up to it. The rooms are large and sunny and the facility offers lots of “add-on” items as needed for a cost. We have 1 person to clean her apartment, and another to supervise her showers. During Covid they even washed off deliveries, mail, and offered visits and ZOOM calls so each person can be in touch with their families. We moved our mother from Florida back to MA and we are so blessed to have found this home.

I saw Harriett and Ralph Kaplan Estates. It was clean and modern. We saw the dining area, and we saw a couple of rooms; they were fine. The staff member who showed us around, was nice, cheerful, and polite. However, it was not compatible with my mother because it was a Jewish center and my mom is Christian.

My mother has been a resident since 2011. Because of family disagreements mom isn’t at home. This place is so bad. Some staff are good but nurses are terrible. Mom had mold growing on her feet. Dirty underwear. Over medicated Etc. Please do not put loved ones in here

i was a patient at this facility following hip replacement surgery. My experience, except for the physical attributes of the room itself, was pretty bad. The staff is virtually untrained and unhelpful. Not one person ever tried to straighten or change my bed the entire time I was there. There were never towels in the bathroom....I had to ask for them when I needed them, and someone took them away and did nor replace them each time. The food is inedible, low quality, out of cans, and just a wee step above garbage. When I arrived on a stretcher by ambulance on a weekend, the floor nurse greeted me in the hallway/dining area with, "Who are you?" She had no record of my impending arrival, no pharmacy orders, and my room wasn't ready. The ambulance guys dumped me in a bed and left, and I waited a half hour for someone to come into my room to tell me anything. I could not navigate on my own, and was frequently stranded in the room without access to a buzzer. Nursing staff is very variable, with one in particular a self imposed pain medication cop who made you wait until she was convinced you were in agony before dispensing prescribed pain meds.....and even then, she made you wait another 1/2 hour before getting around to you. The docs and hospital staff said, "Stay ahead of the pain." Not possible when this nurse was on duty. Some of the PT and OT staff are good and helpful, but other than those few people, the place is useless to gry to recover and fehab. Go someplace else!

I came to this facility after a hip replacement and was extremely disappointed in the care. I would never recommend it to anyone. If you need assistance you wait forever for one of the aids to respond. I am not a fussy eater but the food was the worst institutional food I have ever eaten. The physical therapy, which was the main reason I went there was very mediocre. I am receiving much better PT at home. I had originally planned to stay a week but after two days I couldn't wait to leave this place...and did. Find a better place if you are recovering from joint surgery!!

What I like most is the staff. They are excellent and absolutely awesome. They are very helpful and sweet. They like my mother-in-law, and she likes them. If she is not at her table at dinner, they come looking for her, find her, and make sure she has dinner. They hire special kinds of people. What's nice is that they do an assessment, and after she had been there for a month, they called me up and assessed what they need to do for her. Her room is sunny and big. It has one bedroom, a living room, a walk-in closet, and it's beautiful. She loves it. We have dinner there, and it is fabulous. They bring in musicians. They have presentations. I always go there after lunch to visit my mother-in-law, and they always have something at two o'clock, so she is never bored. There are a lot of places where you can walk inside and outside because they have a memory care, a Jewish community center, and a child care. You can walk down the hall and look through windows to see them. My mother-in-law is happy there, and that makes us happy. It is the best move that we have ever made.

I would never, EVER recommend this sorry excuse of a "rehabilitation" center to anyone. My grandmother went here for rehabilitation due to a knee replacement surgery. She went in with all staff knowing she had a heart condition. Not only did they not monitor her heart, her health or her concerns, none of them ever spoke English! The only thing that this place has going for them was that it's a beautiful property but as far as everything else, ugliest place I have ever seen. Really shows you the horrors that really happen in rehabs/nursing homes.

It was fine. We had our aunt there briefly for a few months. They did have the usual activities but she didn't participate in any activities.

Me and my wife have been staying here about a year and a half. The staff are okay and the people there are excellent. I really like the rent, the facility's surroundings, and the people. The food is also excellent.
