3 or 4 residents per staff member , additional overnight staff if needed , staff each shift overlapping for 2 hour periods

All doors and windows are alarmed . The home has sensors and cameras that detect all movement and records both live and still images of activity around the home . The bedroom doors have keyed locks for privacy but a spare key is with the manager in case of an emergency . The bathroom has safety locks and each room has storage for personal items. The beds are placed in such a way to prevent falls. The bathrooms are fully wheel chair accessible with grab bars and assisted seats in showers if needed . There are no stairs or rugs so fall prevention is key . In case of an emergency the entire home is equipped with a fire alarm system that notifies police and fire of any incident . The home is very close to the local fire station . There is adequate lighting to enhance vision and night lights in rooms and hallways .
