My mother lives at Park View At Woodlawn. It's independent living; it's just like an apartment. You have to buy your own food, cook your own food, and have your own toiletries. Some agencies come around with helpful things like if you need paper towels and toilet paper and things like that. In my mom's building, they get fruits and vegetables. My mom has been there for a while about 13 years already. In the rooms, there's a refrigerator, a stove, and a garbage disposal. They have a very good maintenance man, but as far as office personnel, she often complains about them. With regards to activities, they have a shuttle that takes them to Walmart on certain days.
