Silverado Overland Park was the most expensive of all the ones that we toured. It was a nice place, and the rooms were good. Everything was very nice in there. It was spacious. The rooms were set up very well. The biggest thing about them was that it would have been right about $110,000 a year, maybe a little more. For someone who has an unlimited amount of funds, that would have been perfect for them. The person during the tour was excellent. It was exceptional. All the check marks would be number five for them.

Silverado Overland Park was nice. They had a lot going on there, and they had a very good coordinator person. She was very knowledgeable and had a healthcare background. It's memory care only. They allow pets, which to me is kind of a pro and con thing. Regarding the rooms, they could supply some furniture if you needed it. I didn't think the space was as much as where my mom's now. They have a dining area for the residents. They had a secure outdoor area. They can't get lost because it's kind of a circular whole area, so they're going to end up in the same place every time. They still had quite a bit of construction going on in a big part of the building, but it was all very professionally contained. Residents couldn't wander in there, they had it all blocked off and stuff.
