I went to Robin Run Village Indianapolis to visit my friend and he was quite pleased with the facility and the support staff that he had there. The place was clean and well-maintained. We shared dinner with another resident one day and it was a very pleasant dining room experience. We had a good variety of selections on the menu and the food was well-prepared. There was a sitting room on the second floor where we sat down with one of our friends that we had lunch with and a couple of other visitors that we had a conversation with. I was pleased with the things I saw and we enjoyed our time there.

I toured Robin Run Village. I like all the activities that they have available for my parents. They're living alone right now in their house but they're very isolated. My mother is still able to drive, but not very far, and so this will give them the ability to be with other people their age and do things and just live the rest of their lives actively. The apartments are small but nice. The only negative is that my parents have to adapt. They have a big house, and now they have to learn how to live in a one-bedroom or a two-bedroom apartment. The staff members who gave the tour were wonderful. They were very inviting. I'm very confident that they will take care of my parents and keep them happy and active. They have an indoor pool, so they have water aerobics. They have walking trails, quite a bit of land, and a pond, and so it's very beautiful.

Robin Run Village was very big. I loved it. Linda was the one who toured me around and she was very nice, kind, and outgoing. She showed me all the bedrooms, the dining, the swimming pool, and the physical therapy room. I met some of the employees there, too. After that, she invited me to come back, because they had a program for the residents. I met some of them and they were nice and very welcoming. That's what I liked about them. They had more programs and more things for me to do. They also served us lunch and it was delicious.

My sister is in Robin Run Village for rehab. They say she's improving. She's been there about a week and a half. They sent her there from the hospital. Their service is average. I think the staff is OK. They just do what they're told. The people are kind there and they're nice and helpful, very informative and they give updates. They ask for meetings with the family so that they can update them. They have activities and stuff for the people to do and I think that is a plus right there. Her room is perfect for her.

We like Robin Run Village very well. We visited many communities and have no regrets about selecting this community. It's excellent, lots of activities, and interesting and active group of people. The staff is excellent. We have a 2-bedroom/2-bath house, with great rooms, kitchen, laundry room, 2-car garage, sun room and a patio. We're busy every single second with activities. They have a quite good library, a lovely saltwater swimming pool, water aerobics, a bistro that's open for breakfast and lunch, and a dining room that's open for lunch and dinner.

Robin Run Village was a very nice facility. I liked their amenities. There were residents chatting in the common area. They had a dining room and activities and gatherings in the common area. The staff member who helped me was very knowledgeable and followed up.

My aunt is going to be moving in to Robin Run Village. We got a good deal there. It's away from the major downtown area. It's wooded, has lakes, hiking trails, fishing, and it's a three-story community. They do full service care, which includes Alzheimer's care if you need it. It's quite a nice place and it's probably a premier place in Indianapolis. My aunt is quite lucky to be able to find her way in there. She's going into independent living. My aunt will get a 400-square feet room. It's got one fairly large bedroom, a living area, and a kitchen area which you can use if you want. There is a number of different eating facilities on the premises, including the major dining hall and cafes. The staff has been out to visit my aunt to visit her at her home, preparing her for her move. The support is tremendous. It seems to almost be in an exclusive category from a standpoint of how it's landscaped and positioned in the community.

We went through Robin Run Village's main facilities, dining area, and independent living houses. We saw their exercise room and swimming pool. The atmosphere seemed fine and they had decent food and dining area. The rooms were fine and you could get various sizes, which were adequate.

Robin Run Village was nice. It was winter when we visited my mother-in-law. She was having problems with her heating, but they got that fixed pretty quickly for her. She gets one meal a day. When we originally walked in, we didn't wear badges, but when we came back in, they wanted us to wear badges. The security at the front gate wasn't what I would have expected, and they stopped us the first time. There were people out in the hall where the piano was and they were singing Christmas carols. They have Bingo and she plays that for quite a bit. They have a small gymnasium, and she has a TV in her room. She's comfortable there. She does not like the food collection, but I thought it was pretty good.

I have lived in a garden home at Robin Run Village for eight years and highly recommend it. Our community feels like a family; residents are friendly, caring and supportive of one another. Most stay active and keep up on current events. There are many activities to pick and choose from. There is a nice walking trail circling the campus, even an authentic log cabin situated in a beautiful woods. Staff make us feel like they really care about us and are pleased to serve us. I suggest that seniors considering a retirement community make the move sooner rather than later to make friends and adjust to senior living.

Robin Run was very nice. The dining area was quite nice, but I don't recall about the rooms. The amenities, I think, were quite good. The community was quite spacious.

I ran into a lot of friendly residents at Robin Run Village. They were smiling at me and saying, "Hi," which I found interesting. It might be my favorite out of the places I visited. It had 87 acres, ponds, trails, and places you could walk, but unfortunately, it didn't have a workout facility.

I am in Robin Run and love it. I am comfortable, and have friends and a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with a very nice view. The staff is very good to me. I get hugs all of the time. The food is good. I get one meal a day, and it’s plenty. The service is very good. I just have oatmeal for breakfast and there's enough food to bring up for supper, so I can bring a little salad and a piece of the meat. I don't eat as much for lunch as what they serve, but I have put on weight since I moved here. It's one of the nicer places to move to.

I liked Robin Run Village. It was very nice and very positive, and we may end up going there. The rooms were fine, and the residents were really friendly. We ate lunch, and it was very good. They had great food with a salad bar. We were looking at a two-bedroom apartment. They had a lot of activities and a lot of people were doing the activities while we were there. The residents looked happy and active. The staff was really friendly and helpful. They had a nice exercise area, a swimming pool, walking trails, and fishing ponds. I think they had everything covered.

At Robin Run Village, the rooms were larger; they were still shared, but they had more space. The layout of the rooms was much better so that residents would have a little privacy and a little dignity space. Also, out of all facilities we visited, Robin Run Village seemed to have their patients more active. They have an activities director keeping the patients active and their minds alert.

I think the staff is very caring at Robin Run. I also think the facility is older. It does not quite have the amenities of the newer facilities, but since my mother had lived there beforehand and she knows everybody, I feel like that is the best choice anyway. She is in memory care now, so she has her own private room with a bathroom. Occasionally, they take them off site for dinners and things like that, and during the day, they usually have one activity where they all get together. Sometimes they cook or play games together.

The staff was incredibly nice, friendly, and helpful. Everybody that we talked to was extremely helpful. The rooms were beautiful with quite a wide choice of styles and sizes. My mom chose a two-bedroom and Robin Run completely renovated the apartment before the move in date. My mom got to choose the color of the paint and the carpet and some new appliances were put in. They did a fabulous job. I had a meal with my mom and it was absolutely A+. The dining room is very pretty, large, and open, and it has a view to the outside, so there’s a lot of light. It’s setup very conveniently. They will come and take your order for food. It’s like a real sit down restaurant. The facility has everything you need right under one roof. There are many activities every day; they’ll take you anywhere that you need to go--to doctor's appointments or to the store. Onsite there is a library, beauty salon, work-out room, bistro, and a bank. It is a very lovely place that is clean, attractive and nicely furnished in the common areas. The person in sales who was our main contact was absolutely the kindest, most helpful, and friendliest person. I felt like she really did care about my mom. It wasn't just the job she had to do. She went out and visited my mom personally before the move, talked to her, and helped her every step of the way. This personal attention helped her to feel comfortable with such a big change. Robin Run gave mom a $2500 credit toward moving and even supplied a fabulous moving company that packed up, moved, and then unpacked everything. The place is absolutely safe, and she feels very secure. The best recommendation is that she is so happy and I don't have to worry about her. I have been in several other places, but I like this one the best.

We were so impressed with friendliness of the resident's and staff. The grounds are beautiful. Homes and apartments are older, but remodeled nicely. We were not able to eat lunch while we were there, but left witha delicious pie.

Robin Run Village is a very nice community, but it doesn't meet our requirements. The staff who accommodated us were excellent. The rooms were very nice, and they had cottages.

I have spent time in multiple nursing homes, as my grandparents moved a lot in the later years of their life. Robin Run of Indianapolis was the best by far. The facilities were the cleanest and the staff the friendliest and most responsive. My grandfather is bed-ridden, and a lot of places treated him like he was insignificant and pitiful. He's older, but he was (and still is!) a brilliant man who taught at a prominent university for over 40 years. The staff at Robin Run knew this because they actually took the time to get to know him! It may not seem that important, but Robin Run also had the best food and food service. Since my grandparents ate all of their meals at each of the assisted living facilities in which they lived, the quality of the food was a big portion of how much they enjoyed living in each place. We were all sorry when they left Robin Run, but they insisted on living closer to their new great-grand babies!

One of my relatives is currently residing at Robin Run in Indianapolis. Not only did I observe the place myself, but I also asked her about her own opinions from living there for a month now. First off, from my experience it really felt like a true home. Each room doesn't appear as a normal hotel room, but rather a room you would see in a home. It also has a pool and a lake which allows the individuals to relax and enjoy activities with others. My relative said she loved it there and has made many new friends. She said the best part was she could enjoy activities that usually produce a risk to her health, but the helpers there allow her to do these without any potential risk and if something bad does happen there are people there right away. Overall, Robin Run provides a home feeling to every individual who resides there.
