The service at Kingston Care Center of Fort Wayne was very good and they were very cooperative. My mom was given therapy and exercises. They had a good variety of choices for the food and Mom started eating really good there. They had a lot of activities from Bingo to games.

When I did a tour of Kingston Care Center of Fort Wayne, they were very helpful. I was encouraged to possibly placing him there because I just felt he would have a better level of care. Even having water delivered to his room. The size of the room was bigger, and he would be able to accommodate it if he needed the recliner in his room. The building just seemed to be cleaner, the hallways wider. It's just more accessible; he'd be able to go outside. Also, I just felt he'd have a better level of care there, but I chose not to go there because it wasn't helping me as far as mileage, for me to get there. The staff was great. She was very encouraging, very supportive of the issues that I'd gone through with my brother. They felt like they would be able to help him out. Another thing that I liked about them is that they have shower facilities right in the room.

Kington validates every negative statistic of the most major complaints of Care Centers, and them some. The 'Front Office" promises the best of everything whereas , the floor patient service was a family's worst nightmare. DO NOT ALLOW "DENNIS" to be with your loved one. He is a LOOSE CANNON. Very mean! PT Nurse does not have the ability to ascertain, recognize or care when an 85 year old patient is not feeling well before PT. Results of this unprofessional performance with my mother were alarmingly and humanely intolerable

My mother was at Kingston Care Center of Fort Wayne for rehab. I didn't like the room, and I didn't like the smell. It looked like a hospital room. It wasn't homey at all. There were a couple of nurses who could have done better, but they were okay. The food was good and the activities were average. Even though she was in a private room, it was still pretty cramped. The bathrooms were very large, but the rooms were tight. There wasn't any comfortable place to sit. They had some chairs, but they were pretty uncomfortable. It didn't feel like a place where you would be staying long term.

They can't/won't accommodate special diets. Especially gluten free. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU HAVE CELIAC disease.

I’ve been in Kingston Care Center of Fort Wayne. The facility was very nice, clean, and well set up. It looked like it was brand new, but it was not. The staff was nice except for the nurse that I managed to get who would not give me my pain pills when I asked for them. The food was OK, and they did your laundry for you. They didn’t lose any of mine, so I was quite pleased. Their therapy department was great. They were really very good in what they were doing. If I had to go to one again, I would go there.

My mom's at Kingston Care Center of Fort Wayne. It's the place I liked the best. It is excellent. I think it's clean. The nursing staff is really nice, and the social workers have been very informative about what's going on with my mother's care. They help me to do what's best for her. The downfall is the kitchen area. It could use a little bit more experienced help in serving the patrons, but other than that, it's a nice, clean facility. They have a lot of activities. The residents can order off of a menu, and the food is not bad.

My husband was at Kingston Care Center at Fort Wayne about two years ago. This came highly recommended, and that is the reason why I had him there. He received very good care and very good service. They are really very considerate and very caring. The place is very clean, and they have a nice dining room to eat in. There was a second dining room for people who have special needs for their food. They have games in the facility. They have things going on all the time, and we also got a postcard of what was happening. One time they brought all different kinds of animals. He was very happy and comfortable there.
