"My husband has been in Betz Nursing Home in Auburn since October. They've been great with him. The food is also good and he likes it. The staff is fantastic. Every time I need to talk to him or if he needs something they are right there. They also take him down to where they have group activities. Their facility is very clean and does not smell like a nursing home. The cleaners are doing a lot and they clean his room almost every other day."

"Every time I visit the community, everyone is very friendly and the place is kept very clean. There are lots of fun activities planned and meals are delicious. "

"My mom loved Ashton Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center. It was exclusive. It was so luxurious. It was one of the best nursing/rehab centers I have ever seen. It was impeccably clean and up to date. It was just beautiful. They kept that place pristine. The staff was professional and very attentive. If you ring that bell, they would come right in. If something wasn't right or you wanted a place to be clean again, they would be right there and do it. Their furniture was beautiful. Their dining area was also beautiful and I loved the fact that they had more than one rehab. They had it in sections according to how many residents. So, you didn't have to go all the way around the corner or up to the elevator. Every area had its rehab center. They had a formal dining room and then a general dining room where families could go in. They had church services, jewelry making, and pets that would come in for the residents to play with. They also had crafts and puzzles."

"My father was a resident of this facility and they were more than a 5 Star Rehab Center. There is so much positive energy at this facility among the staff and other residents. You can truly tell they care about each and every person that lives there and they care about their families as well. I was kept up to date on the progress of my father, and now he is back home with my Mom living a very healthy and happy life thanks to the therapist and outstanding nursing staff. God Bless you all!! "My uncle spent few weeks at Laurels of Dekalb and the level of care he received was unbelievable. My uncle is 86 years old and speaks very little English. Even with the language barrier they made his stay extremely pleasant and comfortable. My wife is in social work field and even she was amazed by the staff and facility. If my uncle ever needs to go to another facility for physical therapy we will most definitely go back to Laurels of Dekalb. I will never forget the level of care and understanding that the staff provided."

"If there is a six star, I would give The Village at Pine Valley a six. It was excellent. It was a newer community, so it was updated. The rooms were very nice, more modern than the older nursing homes. I liked the room set up, and even the shared rooms had a kind of a half wall between the two areas. So it was almost like a private-type room. They're very well kept, they have chapel service every day, which I appreciate as well. They do have a therapy room. I did not have a meal there, but there were a couple of very nice dining areas. The staff member who showed me around was excellent. She was very helpful. I was highly impressed with everything. If there wasn't a long waiting list, I would put my mother in there. That was my top choice."

"I went to Grey Stone Health & Rehabilitation Center. My friend was there before she passed away. She had excellent care. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. They were very efficient in her care and always right there to help. The only staff I would meet was when I would go in to see her, and they were nice and helpful in giving directions and seeing if you needed help to reach her room or anything. She was pleased with the food they gave her, and it was closest to one of her daughters to get to her."

"We chose The Cedars for my husband because we had known people who had stayed there and they had a very good experience. We also know that they're a faith-based facility, the overall company is connected with the church, and so we like that. They have a pond where my husband could go out and fish. So those were some of the things that made us choose that. The staff who gave the tour was very friendly and kind. The rooms were very clean and with a bright, open view of the pond outside. It was kind of in a rural area, so it was a very pretty view. The dining room smelled really good when we were in there, it was very clean, and the menu looked very appetizing. They also have activities like crafts and Bible studies."

"My mother moved into long-term care at Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne. She had been here for rehab before, she liked the nursing staff, and she felt very at home here. The staff is very caring and they're very quick to help. The food is good, but it lacks variety. There are multiple things to do every day. They have bingo, exercise, chair yoga, and every day, they have some kind of a speaker or a presenter. They have different gathering rooms. If you have a lot of people, you can have them in a room for visiting. They have a bistro where you can get food any time of the day. I feel like it's worth the money, and she feels very safe here."

"When I did a tour of Kingston Care Center of Fort Wayne, they were very helpful. I was encouraged to possibly placing him there because I just felt he would have a better level of care. Even having water delivered to his room. The size of the room was bigger, and he would be able to accommodate it if he needed the recliner in his room. The building just seemed to be cleaner, the hallways wider. It's just more accessible; he'd be able to go outside. Also, I just felt he'd have a better level of care there, but I chose not to go there because it wasn't helping me as far as mileage, for me to get there. The staff was great. She was very encouraging, very supportive of the issues that I'd gone through with my brother. They felt like they would be able to help him out. Another thing that I liked about them is that they have shower facilities right in the room."

"My friends were residents of Towne House, and I liked their activities, food, staff, and location. The staff was very considerate and helpful. The facility was very clean and well-kept."

"The nursing staff and CNS was poor to okay the therapy staff was good the cleaning staff was friendly the activities staff was pretty good to really good the beds are uncomfortable I've slept on more comfortable army cots the food was wrong according to the slip most of the time and was off and on or whether or not it was good"

"I did not like Miller's Manor. I thought it was old and I did not like the layout. The nurses were very nice, but the facility was awful. There's nothing comfortable looking, or feeling about it."
