My mother is in a nursing home in Butler, IN, and it's The Laurels of Dekalb. It's a nice, peaceful place. They're very caring. She shares her room with another lady. It's a nursing home, so it's not really big; it's an older building, but the care is what matters. They're helping her with pretty much everything because she's incognizant. She has memory problems because she has lung cancer, and it's going to her brain. So, they give her her meals like the whole nine yards. It's a fair value. It's pretty much the standard price for everything.

My uncle spent few weeks at Laurels of Dekalb and the level of care he received was unbelievable. My uncle is 86 years old and speaks very little English. Even with the language barrier they made his stay extremely pleasant and comfortable. My wife is in social work field and even she was amazed by the staff and facility. If my uncle ever needs to go to another facility for physical therapy we will most definitely go back to Laurels of Dekalb. I will never forget the level of care and understanding that the staff provided.
