"I haven't had any issues with Golden Livingcenter. Everything seemed to be fine. The room was fine. They had plenty activities. They played games, and they did arts and crafts with them. The surrounding was alright. Because my mom is on a fixed income and she has Medicare, I like the fact that I was able to get a private room that met the amount that she could pay because she is very, very a loner, so it was good that I was able to get her a private room. "

"My uncle lived at Hubbard Hill Estates. He moved into a duplex. He took care of himself, but whatever help he needed, he liked it. The cleanliness was fine. With regards to activities, he was usually in charge of taking them on tours and stuff. He set up dinners and things like that, too. He was very active. I think the value for money is reasonable, too. The duplexes were off a little bit away from the other buildings. It's very quiet. You can have as much help. They come in and do things for you. It's very peaceful there. The courtyard was pretty. They had a pond with ducks, geese, and all that. The dining area had small tables. There were usually two to four people to a table, and they would serve you."

"Greenleaf Living Center was very good. The gentleman that talked with us was very friendly and helpful. The facility was absolutely beautiful. I was really happy with it. "

"I have volunteered to play cards with the residents. The facility is very clean and most of the staff kind. There were a few staff members that let residents wander around without assistance when the resident was asking for help. We took the resident back to her room and we are not qualified people to do so. "

"I had a pretty good opinion of East Lake Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. My father was there for rehab after a fall, and the physical therapists, occupational therapists, and aides were very good. One of the aides actually took me into their Alzheimer's unit to see what it was like, and it was a very nice area. I'm talking about the private pay patients. The cleanliness and everything, we didn't have any concerns about that, but he didn't like the food. They did have some activities, but he was not really terribly interested in participating in them because he was in pain. They have a private room for when you want to bring in family, they have activity rooms, and they have a beauty shop and barber services as well."

"My father in law goes to Woodland Manor for respite care. He loves it there. The staff is friendly. It is not a fancy facility but the care he receives is excellent. They treat the patients like family and strive to make them feel at home. "

"All in all the staff was very accomodating. My grandfather admittedly wasn't the best resident and caused quite a lot of problems, but the staff remained professional and maintained quality care. The facilities could be improved to include more space for activities. While visiting him, I noticed that a lot of other residents were roaming the halls, and seemed as if they weren't being monitored closely enough. It was concerning because some were ambulatory. My grandfather was bedridden, so this issue didn't relate to him. I also noticed that residents didn't seem to have enough activities to keep them busy, which probably contributed to their roaming. Our church became involved and began providing outreach programs and visitation to the residents, which was greatly appreciated by home. Overall, our experience was positive. Due to our financial limitations, this was the best choice for our situation. For any reason in the future there was need for assisted living, I would definitely consider using this facility again. "

"Absolutely wonderful facility. Everytime I go to see my loved one the staff is always welcoming and is there to answer any questions I may have. The nurses, aides and administration staff are some of the best I’ve seen in the area. My loved one always has a hott meal and a decent time and is properly taken care of. Plenty of activities throughout the day as well. Would recemond this facility to anyone looking for a good rehabilitation or long term facility. "

"I like St. Paul's a lot. The place was excellent, the people were nice, and I had a real good interview. Everything was great and clean. I would love to get in there. The staff was excellent, knew everything about it, all my questions were answered, and was very professional. It was lunchtime when I was there and the food looked excellent. Everybody was pleased with the food and it smelled pretty good to me. They explained the activities to me, which sounded great."

"The staff appears to be over-worked and underpaid. Residents are vulnerable to having to contend with room-mates who can be noisy and disruptive, and offered no recourse. "

"We found Southfield Village. The price was right. It was clean, and it was pretty. The people were very helpful, very kind. We just liked it the best. For her, the room is spacious enough. I know that they have popcorn and movies, which she really likes. They go on outings, and they're available to go several times a week, which she really likes. "
