My mom has been at Canterbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. We really like it. They had one of the better nursing cares. They also had a memory care place on the property, which we knew we would be moving to eventually. They have been really great with my mom, and met most of our needs as we needed them. The staff members were very friendly and very accommodating. They have all kinds of different activities going on. They have a bistro place that you can go to. I was very impressed at first, but once my mom moved into a room, her room was a little beat up. They have a physical fitness area and a courtyard.

I was pleasantly pleased with the cleanliness of Canterbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The staff seemed professional. I felt like the tour and the place went well and made me feel comfortable that I would be placing my mom in that facility.

I went to Canterbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for rehab and it was OK. It was a clean building. I just didn't get that much help from the staff. I didn't get my food when I was supposed to, and when I got it, it was cold. The management was OK, nothing to brag about, but the room I had was pretty good. I thought it was kind of funny when they had to bring towels in and put them in front of the shower to keep the water in. The VA paid for my stay there, so I can't say how much it cost.

We found Canterbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center to be very similar to its sister community that we visited, since they're run by the same company. They're just a little bit better, but still we had problems with the smell there. Their rooms were a lot like a 2-bed hospital room and they're not very spacious at all. The dining area was fine, it looked clean. The residents seemed to be doing okay and interacting, and it seemed to be a friendly community.
