BrightStar Senior Living requires all of our team members to complete an extensive eight hour training program upon hire and eight hours annually.

Our full Life Enrichment program is as individualized to meet our residents needs. Upon admission, each resident may expect a thorough visit with our preferred therapy provider so we have a baseline of their skills and abilities. From there the individualized program is created. Our Life Enrichment Coordinator is able to create a purposeful program that is engaging and meaningful for. Some of our programs may include: cooking, baking, crafts, exercise, travelogues, inter-generational programming, gardening, pet interaction, and much more.

BrightStar Senior LIving is proud to say, ALL of our meals served are 90% made from scratch. Our Chef makes breakfast to order, every day. The lunch and dinner menu are nutrient rich to enhance the overall health of our residents. The menu is fluid based on taste and preferences of each resident. BrightStar Senior Living also offers home-made power shakes. Our nutrition at risk meeting includes the Chef, Director of Health and Wellness, and our Executive Director. This meeting follows each resident closely to identify any nutrition needs, changes, and call to action. We have had amazing results with this program, whether residents need to gain weight, lose weight, or require added protein to help heal.

We are located in the Pine Valley neighborhood on the north side of Fort Wayne. We are across the street from Pine Hills Learning Place. There is something to be said about being able to sit on the patio and watch the kids play at their playground and listen to the laughter.
