"I had an in-person tour of University Place, and it was an excellent tour. They were very kind, took a lot of time, and had patience with all our questions. It was a beautiful facility. It was definitely on the top of our list. The people seemed caring. The woman who gave us the tour knew all the patients by name and stopped and talked to them. I just thought that was kind. The rooms were beautiful, brand new, very clean, warm, and comfortable. The dining area looked nice. We saw their activities room. There were people playing games and sitting by a fireplace."

"I found the staff at Five Star Residences of Lafayette to be welcoming and caring. The facility was very well maintained, indoors and outdoors, and the residents that I interacted with seemed very pleased with their surroundings. I thought the amenities were excellent too and I was very pleased with it. They have a two-bedroom unit that has a detached garage and that garage is going to make a difference for me. They also offer field trips, classes in painting, and different types of art, and music programs."

"My father-in-law is currently at Creasy Springs Health Campus. I would highly recommend this place. It's a very friendly atmosphere, and he seems to enjoy being there. They have social events, and they go out on excursions. The staff is very caring. The place is extremely clean, and they've done well keeping my father-in-law clean. The nurses are caring and very helpful. They'll answer any questions that we have."

"I like that Aster Place has an opening for my friend and she could move in once they have checked with her doctors and financials. It is a very pleasant place to go. It isn't really big, but it isn't small either. They have different activities. One of the things she likes is that they have transportation to doctors. The staff who gave the tour was very professional and very knowledgeable. She answered all the questions. After the tour, they sent my friend home with banana bread, and it was very good. Also, they have an enclosed courtyard that my friend's room will be facing out onto, and it looks very inviting."

"I'm at Wesley Manor. It's a campus. There are duplexes, fourplexes, and separate homes. If I decide to buy into the community, I may move to one of the individual houses. Although I quite like this duplex I'm in. I'm renting it at this time, but I could buy it if I wanted to. I am in a two-bedroom, two-bath unit. It has a laundry room with a washer and dryer that is separate, and I also have a small sun porch. The rooms are large, comfortable, very clean, and nicely laid out. Nice landscaping outside. It would be possible for me to make a garden out in the backyard. The Manor has a greenhouse that residents can use if you want to garden there. I don't get the health care that comes with assisted living, but I can use all The Manor facilities. There's an indoor warm pool, a bowling alley, a chapel, a small store, banking, and mailing within the campus. There's also a nice dining hall, and if I choose to, I can have meals there. They have specials and they're good meals. I've eaten there before, I just haven't since I moved in there. There are trips and social events planned, and I can participate in those. I have an attached warm garage, which is nice. We're having a snowstorm, so it's quite cozy here. It's pet friendly but there are some restrictions as to size and breed. I have a 40-pound border collie and a cat who's happy here. This is a park-like setting with lots of areas to walk. There are good sidewalks throughout the campus. It is just on the outer edge of Frankfort, Indiana, which is a small town. It's a nice farming community. The staff is excellent. They're really good and responsive. Maintenance responds promptly, and they're very friendly and professional. Everyone I have met has been excellent. If I buy into the plan here, and if I need assistance, I can move into the main building, and I'm familiar with those rooms. They're very nice and really good. The nursing staff is really nice. This community has been here a very long time. It's well-established in the community."

"It's beautiful over there at Autumn Trace of Attica. My sister loves it. It's brand new, and it's very clean. They keep it immaculate, and the women all seem like they're so happy. Each of them has a studio apartment in there. My sister has a studio apartment and it's beautiful. It's just like living in an apartment building instead of being a nursing home. I had thought about selling my home and going over there, but it's a little more expensive. They have a game room where they go in and work on puzzles and do different things. They have a beautiful lot outside that they can go out and sit. They have several areas like screened-in porches, that when it's nice, they could go out and sit in there with their families. I've never seen something like that before, it's just beautiful. All the staff seemed nice. When you walk in, they greet you. If you go into a nursing home, you have to sign in, but this is just like they have their own apartments. You could just go in any time, you don't have to sign in, and you could go to their door and knock. They're allowed to come out and take you into a different room if you want or into their apartment. It's just like an apartment house. So, the people that are in there feel more comfortable. It's not like they're in a nursing facility. The staff is all young and very concerned. They have bingo, they have live entertainment coming in, and they have church services. They have puzzles, and you could go in and work puzzles all day if you want. They have a TV. Each one is allowed to have their own TV of course, but then they have a big TV out in the foyer for everyone. They are allowed to go into the dining room to socialize with each other, and that's nice."
