"We toured The Grove Assisted & Independent Living. They do not do laundry, which is what my wife needs as she cannot do laundry. That's the only thing that I noticed we did not like. It was assisted living that we looked at and the rooms were smaller than what we wanted. They're studios and it's like being confined to a small space as they had very little place to go. When we were there, we only saw, I think, two people. The person who took us around and one helper so I didn't see much of the staff."

"We are choosing Sun City Gardens because of the convenience of the location. We are only 6 minutes away, which is ideal. We also have a little bit of history with them. My husband's mother did respite care there; she has dementia. She has to go to get her hair done there every week, so we know one of the staff members. My sister, who's going to be moving there, took volunteer work there about 5 years ago too, so she's had a little bit of exposure. We like the appeal of the garden area. They have an expansive garden area with pathways, and they have a pool. She loves the idea that they have activities throughout the day, I think they have activities three times a day, some days it is 4. They have a theater that will be opening up soon. They have community dining, so she'll get to meet a lot of people there. Residents can also have their own pets. She likes the idea of a private room with her own furniture. She is starting with independent living and a caregiver. There are two dining areas. One in the building that she will be staying in. It's a smaller one, but very adequate dining area. Then there's an expansive dining area right off the main lobby, but they're not offering meals because of the COVID restrictions."

"WellQuest of Menifee Lakes is a wonderful place and they're like the high end of things. Their staff member, Michael, he has been great. My mother is in dementia care, so all I saw was the dementia area, and what I saw was adequate. It's very nice and it's doable. The security is fine, it's what you would anticipate. I didn't see any activities, but I know that they do have activities, because you get to see them on calendars. It's expensive when you have two parents instead of one. The facility is wonderful the way it's set up. I saw the whole facility. It's like living in a gracious and wonderful environment. They're a facility that provides and meets the needs of the family and the elderly."

"It is a very nice facility. They keep it in very good shape. There were no foul smells or anything. I met the director and she showed me a couple of the different rooms. The rooms were nice, large, well-kept, and ready to go. They have some openings, so I told my sister that 'they're ready whenever you can get your house sold, so let's go!' We're working on it, but she still goes back and forth a little bit. I think the people were very nice. The staff showed us all over the facility. She made sure that we had information on everything they offered, and we were very pleased. They were excellent. Very nice people. They gave you a very welcoming home-style feeling, and they gave us some cookies when we left and that was nice. The facility was a little bit older but still in good shape. They have a library, and they have dining where you could choose your own meals. They would come and clean the room once a week, and they would do the sheets once a week. They have a pool, and they have a piano in the main hall. They could sit down and play it for the people, and that would be great. The pets are allowed if you want them. They have a game room, and they have a washer and dryer available to the customer if they need them. The facilities are probably due for some upgrades, but they're good. The dining area looked clean and orderly. The people that were dining that we saw as we walked by looked to be conversing with each other, and it looked to be a healthy atmosphere."

"We saw a studio and a one-bedroom apartment, and they looked fine. The staff seemed friendly to the residents. We went through the game room and a cafe. I would recommend it. It is in a quiet location. "

"I am living in a senior home mobile community Plantation on the Lake. The people here are fantastic. It's a beautiful community. We have activities. We have two swimming pools. We had dinners once a month. We have ceramics and all kinds of stuff. They do a lot of trips to places on buses. The mobile home park is kept very, very clean. We have a crew that cuts the grass for the park individually."

"We did made a quick tour at The Village at Redlands. It's a brand new senior community and the place is awesome. The residents do get three meals a week although they don't offer housekeeping. They have nice people and they got activities there. "

"I like The Village at Redlands. It's a very quiet place. I could hardly see people in the hallway. They're all seniors, and they're older than me. The compound is located in a distant neighborhood. That's one thing I like about it. I noticed some areas are close to a town or stores. Sometimes I don't like it close to the neighboring areas. Generally, I like the environment at The Village at Redlands. Before I spoke with the manager, I had already checked the place out. I said, "I like this place." It's a two-story building, and it's built like a hotel. They have what they call cottages. They're duplexes, but they look like single-family homes. That's also for rent for seniors like me. They cost more, but they're real houses. They have a front yard taken care of by the management. They have a two-car garage. I like it. So, when I met with the manager, there was only one vacant, which is why I rushed in and took it. It has a security gate. It has glass doors. It has a PIN code. I like the way it looks. This does't really have a staff because it's independent living. There's one person who works in the office. The office is separated from the main building. There is also a staff that cleans and takes care of the area. They don't clean where we live. They will clean it if we request it, and we have to pay for it."

"Plymouth Village was a wonderful place, but it didn't suit my needs. The facility was on a large estate with individual houses suitable for couples, but not for single individuals such as myself. The staff was wonderful. I've eaten meals there and the food was good. The drawback for a single person is that you have to go to another building for meals and it's somewhat isolated. It's also very expensive to move in because it's a buy-in facility. They have full amenities."

"My parents are staying at Linda Valley Villa. The facility is unassuming, warm, inviting, and homelike. There's a new administrator, and I've only met him once. He seemed responsive and listened to our questions. During the pandemic, the administrator was a woman, and she was very helpful and very conscientious about the safety of my parents and the other residents. They have a nice dining room where my parents take their meals. They have lots of activities. They have a large trip once a month that goes to a museum or somewhere an hour or so away, and they have lunch out at that event. It's usually a half-day excursion. I've eaten there, and the food is fine. It's vegetarian meals, which are important to my parents. So they're very individualized. The whole place is vegetarian. They don't serve any meat."

"My husband and I live in the independent living community of Soboba Springs Park in San Jacinto. They have a pool and all kinds of activities going on. They have things going on all the time, as far as men's outings, women's outings, and going out to eat and walking. They have swimming exercises and pool tables. Every holiday, they have a big thing going on, like Christmas parties, which is really interesting. They really celebrate every holiday. The one we had for New Year's Eve, you bring a snack for 6 people, and that's all you do. They have everybody share the food, and they have live music and dancing, and all that kind of good stuff. The people who keep the park up were really good, too. We rent here, and the rent is also really good."

"Loma Linda Springs is a very good facility. The place is cheap and we already good an apartment. We're moving in about less than three weeks. The place is really kept clean. The maintenance crew is always out. The staff seems to be pretty good. I see them attending to the residents. They were nice to us. "
