"We choose Brightwater Senior Living of Highland, and it is spectacular. My parents have a living room, a bedroom, and a bathroom. The food is delicious, and they’re perfect about giving them their medicines. I can’t say enough about how wonderful these people are. They have activities from 8 o’clock in the morning till 7:30 at night. They take them on little field trips to Hobby Lobby, Wal-Mart, JC Penney, and Target. They had a special veterans thing. They had a Thanksgiving dinner for them where the families could come. They’re having a Christmas party. They’re taking them to a dinner and dance. We go everyday to see them because we only live 5 to 7 minutes away from them. It’s pricey, but you get your money’s worth. Both my parents are level 2, so that adds a little bit, and it’s about a little under $6000 a month. I would suggest it to anyone. We have been super pleased with everything and all the people there, and we’re very happy. "

"Everybody at Brookdale Loma Linda seemed so attentive. I liked the apartment layout, and I like that the price is based on the level of care. We didn't pay for what my parents didn't need; I liked that. I liked the appearance inside, and it looked very clean. The residents that were wondering around seem content. They had an outside area that was enclosed, so they can sit outside. I really liked the rooms. They had a bedroom with a bath and walk in closet. They had a little sitting room, a small couch, and TV. There's a little dining room that had tables, a couple of chairs, and a microwave. They weren't going to prepare their meals, but if they wanted to heat up something there's also a very little refrigerator. If they wanted a snack to heat up something themselves, they could. The dining area was very nice, and was laid out very nicely. My parents are vegetarians. They did have vegetarian options, so they could find things that they like. They had games, a little library, and a place where you can go and get your hair done on certain days of the week. The staff was extremely helpful. They very patiently called back with our questions and met with us a second time. They seem to be caring and concerned about their clients or residents' well-being. It was all very nice. When you go in there were several couches, a piano, and space to roam around and visit with your guest."

"My mother resided here since 2020 until she recently died at the age of 100. Her care was excellent. Jerry, her caregiver when she died, was devoted to her needs. This residence is meticulously clean. The staff is caring and go above and beyond. If you drive by to inspect, don’t be put off by the exterior, the inside is nice and feels like home. "Brookdale Sunwest has very friendly people. The fact that they have an independent living and an assisted living in one facility was the main reason we chose Brookdale Sunwest. The staff is extremely positive, very kind. They have lots of activities, like cards and bingo throughout the day. They have a pool. It’s a very active facility. The food is good, and the dining room is very nice. It’s perfect for an elderly person. "

"The Camelot was great. It was a good place. We like the rooms. I also like the dining room. It's like a social area, and it's very nice. Then they have a theater where the seniors could watch movies. They also have a library where you could drink teas. They have a book club, a movie theater, and bingo."

"The staff is very good. They're kind to us and they are more than willing to help us with anything we need. I like the activities. They give us a table where we can do puzzles every day in the activity room. We also play bingo and poker. They also have a lot of barbecues and they even had a pageant during the summer. We go out once a month to eat and go to a sightseeing trip. Whatever they do, we're involved. The rooms are adequate and the food is very good. I'm very happy here. We also have a non-denominational meeting every Sunday for church. But I'd like to have a Catholic mass once a month, where priest would come in and say mass for us. That's what I like and my personal feeling."

"My wife and I have lived at Altavita for seven (7) years and we dearly love it here. We live in a 2400 SF single level home on a spacious lot consisting of a well maintained lawn, large shade trees and lovely flowers and shrubbery. Altavita is a well laid out community which lies at the foot of the mountains and the amenities are unsurpassed. They include, but not limited to: Indoor swimming pool, well equipped Fitness Center, Chapel, Dining Rooms, Café, Libraries, Computer Room, Assisted Living , Skilled Nursing and Special Memory Care. The living accommodations include single homes, duplex homes and various apartment types. Unlimited activities are available i.e. Bridge sessions, Poker sessions, Book clubs, Tours, Concerts, various crafts groups, Resident Committees, Etc. Atavita’s staff includes a “Top Notch” chef and the food services are outstanding. Maintenance of the living quarters is the responsibility of the maintenance staff and they do an excellent job. Similarly, the weekly housekeeping services are performed in an exceptional manner. There are many factors that make Altavita a great place to live. However, none top the friendliness of the residents. Without doubt it’s the wonderful neighbors and residents that one meets and is befriended by that make Altavita such a wonderful place to come to “TO LIVE”."

"I visited the Hacienda Senior Living Assisted Living & Memory Care in Hemet and it was very nice. I like the grounds and the upkeep. The memory care rooms were nice, the staff was excellent, and it had no bad smell. The lady who gave us the tour was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The facilities were very nice. If they had been closer, I would have had no problem putting my mother there. They didn't have activities going on the day I was there, but they had a whole activity board of what they do every day. You could see what activities they did each day and which staff they brought in to lead the activities. The dining room was excellent. It was open, clean, and well-lit. It was an excellent facility, clean, and well-manicured. The staff knew who and what they were treating. They had a very good outlook too. It was just a wonderful place."

"I visited Pico De Loro. Everything was very nice. I had a lot of resources but the cost was too much. They showed everything, the rooms, the bedding, and the dining areas. I sampled the meal and the food was good. The facility was great. It's very clean. They had very nice and good quality programs for them. The staff was helpful and easygoing."

"I really like it. It is very nice, very clean, and there's a very warm feeling. It has a pleasant odor, too. The people and staff are very hospitable. They're pleasant people. I really enjoy the fact that they have a happy hour for the residents. I would have placed my father there if they're a little more reasonable as far as price, but it is a little costly for us. The person who helped me was very nice. I saw their area where they eat. It was very clean, but I did not see any activities going on. The only drawback was the cost. For those who can afford, I'm sure they would be fine."
