Joy Assisted Living Home's care is good. My mom has a roommate, but she has her own bedroom. They share a living room and a kitchen together. My mom goes to physical therapy or does exercises every day. They play bingo or cards every afternoon. The dining area is very nice and the food is great. They also have an activity room. The accommodations are nice and the faculty is nice and very proficient. They're treating Mom well and we have no complaints. She is happy, she's with adults her age, and she's made friends. Everything has worked out good.

The owner and her staff really are caring. I visit with a friend who had a family member there and I must say, I was impressed.

It was a very clean facility. It was decorated nicely and spacious. I was able to talk to one staff members there and she was really nice. They have activities like they have people come in to do their hair. They also take the residents to restaurants. There are limited activities but it's good that they have a few than nothing at all.
