We toured PruittHealth Jasper. They were very spacious. Most of them had sliding glass doors which were not accessible. They couldn't open them. They had most of them shut, but they were very roomy and very clean. The lady who took us around on the tour was exceptionally nice. Anytime we met anyone on the staff, they greeted us, made eye contact, and spoke to us, saying "Hello. How are you?", and things like that. They were all very friendly.

We're happy with PruittHealth Jasper. It seems clean, the rooms are larger, and my husband says the food is better. My daughter said his room is a lot larger than the other place he was at and it's nice. So, he's more content and it seems like the staff responds more to him. There's a large nice courtyard and then they have an area set up for the visitors, but you can visit now inside with an appointment. Everybody has just been very nice. The admissions person, the two ladies from the front desk that I've dealt with, and the financial people are very nice. They've tried to be very helpful to us.

My mother will be moving back to PruittHealth Jasper. They have skilled nursing, rehab, and long-term care. It's a small facility. My experience with them has been good. I like their responsiveness to my mother's needs, and they seem to be very careful about any transmission of the virus. They test everyone every week, that's what they do. They're very attentive. I hadn't been inside since it's under lockdown, but I have spoken with two people on the phone that are nurses and they seemed to be very caring and competent. I really don't know enough to rate them because my mother was only there a short time before she had to be transferred to another facility. Also, I haven't been able to go inside. I'm generally pleased with what they have done. My mother said the food was good. She didn't rave about it, but it was OK.
