I visited this facility

The Harrison of Wildwood was excellent. It was very neat. They were friendly. They showed us the rooms and the facilities. They answered all my questions about extracurricular activities and stuff like that. The rooms were very adequate for one person. The place was clean, and it smelled good. The dining area was very nice and spacious. The tables weren't crammed together, and that kind of stuff. That would be a place I would seriously consider for my mother. I thought the staff was very good and very thorough. We visited the exercise room. I was just very impressed with the place. It was very nice, spacious, and clean. I went into the restroom while I was there, and it was very clean. The residents smelled clean, and so did the rooms.

I visited this facility

We went to The Harrison of Wildwood and toured their memory care for my cousin's husband. It was very nice, very clean, and very welcoming. The people that greeted us were also very welcoming. It's a lovely place. They had just moved down. Somebody else had it as a memory care place before, and The Harrison has just moved into that location. The sales consultant was wonderful. She followed through with us and answered every question. She was very compassionate and listened to what my cousin's feelings were. The dining area looks good. We were in a memory care place, so the food was probably a little simpler than it would be in the other areas. They also don't have choices. They just put the food in front of the residents because it's memory care. Everything was neat, clean and tidy. The people serving them were also very friendly and happy. They're very helpful with the residents if they need to be. They were the most expensive. They were about $1,000 more than every other place we have visited.

I visited this facility

It is a very attractive facility. The staff said it was like four years old, it had very nice accommodations, waiting rooms, and common areas, and the dining room was very nice. It's very attractive-looking when you go in, but it doesn't give you the feeling of assisted living. The dining room was very clean. We got to see one room, the 1-bedroom was small when you're comparing it to coming from a whole house. But it's sufficient for the basics you need. They had a beauty shop, an onsite rehab center, a game room, and a movie room. They had pretty much the same amenities as all the assisted living that I've visited. The person who gave me the tour was very good, she explained everything and answered all the questions.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My husband is at the memory care unit here. We chose that facility for him because they are an ECC (Extended Congregate Care) licensed facility and I needed that for him. They are very good. They come and see him every two hours. The place is very clean and has very big rooms. They have a beauty parlor, their own physical therapy, speech therapy, and things like that.
