My dad was at Seaview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, but I was moving him to another facility. It was OK, but sometimes the nurses don't do what they were supposed to do. I could see a lot of nurses just standing around, and I could see the patient needing something and trying to alert them, but they were talking among themselves. I was calling to check on my dad because he lost his phone, and every station that I called had me on hold for a long time, they transferred me to this person, and that person was supposed to go get my dad. All in all, everybody was nice to him. The people were nice, and it's family oriented. They made him happy. They liked him, and he had his own room. The cleanliness was good. They kept it clean, and I had no complaint about that.

This is my second night here. Being paralyzed from the waste down, I need help from the nurses..late at night, it takes an hour for a nurse to respond to my calling, and even after the response, they take a long time to do what I’m asking...like things that my body needs to be set in before I go to sleep. The night nurses also seem unfriendly, as they look like they’re forced to do things nurses are supposed to do...like bring medication when needed.

Not a very clean place. The patients do get outside & are provided entertainment. The staff does seem to genuinely care for their patients however. This is what you get when you can't afford better.
