I liked Inspired Living at Ocoee. It was nice. It was cleaner and newer. The setup was also nice. You have to bring your own TV, bed, curtains, pictures on the wall, and everything. You furnish the room yourself and they would allow you to bring your dog. They have a swimming pool and they have three meals a day and snacks. The lady that gave the tour was good and knowledgeable of the place and activities that they were doing. She answered all my questions when I wanted answers.

Inspired Living at Ocoee was very nice. The tour was very complete. A lot of questions were answered about the place. The rooms were very up-to-date, well-furnished, and very convenient. The staff was very knowledgeable and what they didn't know, they found out the answers for us. I thought they were very professional.

I toured Inspired Living at Ocoee. It was very clean and nice. I saw activities going on for the residents. Looking at the rooms and stuff that they showed me, it was pretty nicely laid out. They had nice grounds for the residents to walk around. The staff was caring. I saw them assisting folks. They were distributing meals at that time also. They did look professional with their nice uniforms. There was a young lady that came in a couple of times a week and was teaching the residents some action songs.

I toured Inspired Living at Ocoee, and I like them very much. But they couldn't take my husband because of his diagnosis. It's a very nice place, everything from the rooms to the arrangement of the place was very, very good. They showed me the memory care and everything, but they said that they don't have the personnel to take care of us while we were there. They had a space to go outside, sit down, or walk. Those two ladies who showed me around were great. They have a private room, they provide three meals, snacks, everything. The place was beautiful, and from the outside it also looked great.

Inspired Living at Ocoee was the first one that reached out to me. The place was beautiful. They have a lot going on for the residents. It's a good community. You've got people that can move around and they offer tons of amenities. It's got a heated pool, a putting green, pool tables, other game tables, and entertainment at night. It's ala carte dining where you don't get a schedule. So when you're hungry, you just go down and eat. It's like a restaurant. The place is fabulous and I'm in love with it so much. The head nurse is wonderful. Her name is Holly. Elizabeth is really sweet, too. They've got laundry rooms on every floor, and I've seen residents doing their own laundry. It's just very active and they have two family rooms where if the family wants to get together for a birthday party or something, they can go there. There are refrigerators to put drinks in and they could just serve food, and be all together instead of being stuffed in one little room. They have the whole area to enjoy. It's a pretty cool setup.

Speaking and dealing with Elizabeth, the sales director at Inspired Living at Ocoee, has been nothing but a very good experience. The staff has been extremely helpful. The facility is very calming and they have a lot of activities to work on different parts of the brain, which is very important. They have cooking, and gardening and they even had a hurricane party to get them through during the hurricane. The memory care was perfect because it's all on one floor. It's basically in a U-shape, and then there's a big closed-in screen porch. There's a very long courtyard with a gazebo in the middle of it, and the residents can have the independence to go out there. They have flowers and plants everywhere, and bird feeders. The atmosphere all around is beautiful. The landscaping is beautiful, too.

My wife is staying in Inspired Living Ocoee. They have very nice staff who's always very friendly. We're able to go in and see her, and we can bring our grandchildren now, since the pandemic has let up a little bit, and that's very nice. The rooms are nice, the staff is very friendly, and they're always willing to help. She seems to be getting very good care there, and there seems to be a lot of activities for them to enjoy during the day. They get to see movies, they play games during the day, and they switch things up. They watch videos, music videos, and things like that. They get up and dance once in a while. I've seen their food, but I've never eaten there, but it seems my wife loves her food there.

Inspired Living at Ocoee was very nice. When you walk in, it's almost like a hotel. The grounds were wonderful and the staff were very nice. They have a restaurant that's open all day, which is kind of cool. They have a pool, and the rooms were nice too. They've got happy hour, bingo, van trips, transportation to doctor's appointments, grills so you can cook out, and a gymnasium where they provide physical therapy right there.

Any place that slips an arbitration agreement into the admission papers does that for a reason because they know they’re not gonna be able to take care of your loved one and you might want to sue them. My dad has been here since March and he has fallen more than 18 times out of his wheelchair and been in the hospital at least three times. This place looks really nice from the outside but they are all about the bottom line and making money. They work their staff and overworked their stuff and under schedule so that there aren’t enough CNA’s to take care of the residents. They just want to make money so they keep promising that they’ll take care of your family member and design a new care plan for them. The responsible thing to do would be to admit that the person would be better off going to a smaller senior home or skilled nursing facility instead of keeping them there until they get really injured . Do not put your loved one in a new community ! There will be turn over from the executive level all the way down to the hourly employees and they don’t know what they’re doing yet. Things will only be good for the first few months and then the slide downhill .

I went to Inspired Living at Windermere. It's new, but it was too commercial for me and cost a little too much. It's very beautiful and elegant and though Mom fell in love with it, but it didn't feel homey to me. When you walk in, it looks very rich, like a grand hotel. They're very professional.

I liked Inspired Living and that is where my dad will be going. It was very warm, inviting, and offered many services. The staff was wonderful, and they were friendly, and accommodating. It was brand new, the grounds were beautiful, and close to major highways. The rooms were spacious, brand new, beautiful, and handicap friendly. They have a lot of sitting areas on the different floors near the rooms, the dining area is beautiful, and open, and people can eat whenever they want.

I have had some issues with Inspired Living, but they are really knocking themselves out to make up for it. The place is gorgeous, food is great, people are friendly, but the response time for my husband's personal care was seriously lacking. I've had a couple of meetings with them and they're doing everything in their power to fix it. They have a Wednesday wind-down where they have entertainment that comes in, and when my husband feels up to it, he goes and plays a couple of songs on the harmonica. The activities seem to be pretty decent. It has only been two months and he's just really now getting acclimated. Everything else has gone smoothly though. The pricing is fairly high, but they did have a thing that we signed that the price will never go up, which is a tremendous advantage. It's $5,200 a month, which includes all the supplies that they need. They don't nickel and dime you on anything and it's a flat fee that will never go up, so the pricing in that respect is good. It's a little pricey, but everything else goes along with it.

My husband moved into Inspired Living in March. It's almost new and a lovely place to be. It has a lot of nice amenities. The rooms are somewhat small for the price in my opinion, but the place is clean. The staff is very nice and very helpful. It's amazing how quickly they all learn your name. The food is good. So far, I am satisfied with the care that my husband is getting. They probably could use a few more staff members to care for the patients. For my husband, it takes two of them to lift him from the wheelchair to the bed or wheelchair to the chair. That leaves somebody else waiting. When he has to go to the bathroom and they are busy with other people, he has to wait because it takes two of them and they don't have that many available people. That's my biggest concern right now, and I hope that as time goes on, they will be able to add at least one or two more on each shift.

The one that we ended up liking the most was Inspired Living. When you walk in, it is a really pretty lobby, which is kind of like walking on a cruise ship. It was really pretty and well-appointed. The people were very nice and hospitable. The place had just opened up in September, so it is new and has a really nice pool area with a nice big covered bar where they do cocktails and stuff at night. They also have a really nice dining room, which is open the whole day, so there is no time that you have to be down there except for meals that might be in-between or what they call the all-day dining, but you don’t get the meal of the day or the choices that they were serving, unless there is stuff left and then you can get it. You don’t have to worry about getting down there at a certain time, which I thought was really nice. When they show you the apartments, they were all decorated really nicely, so that helps to be able to see what kind of furniture would fit in there. The assisted and the independent living are combined, and then they had a separate wing for the memory care. If it hadn’t been that the rest of my siblings lived a lot farther south and they just really thought that it was too far for them to come, my mom would have been there. We really loved it.
