I came into the center and felt a welcomed. The supervisor was kind and understanding. Even though the do not take our insurance she helped me and gave me numbers to help with payment. My mom goes 2-3 days a week and I know she is in good hands.

I’ve seen that there were not that many people at Lakeland Multi-purpose Senior Center, so I think they get more attention. I don’t know if my husband participates in their activities, but I got a letter from them that he does. We went there looking around. I set off to see the manager at that time, and he was eating with the people having lunch. My husband is not complaining, so it must be OK. The staff was very courteous and friendly. I had to wait for the driver to come back, and I was done with the management office, and she got me something to drink and a cookie, so they were very accommodating. They tried to make me feel good while I was waiting there. It was clean, and I was surprised that they had big tables where they were eating lunch. I could not see anything wrong with the place. I did not go in each room, but they showed me where they go to the bathroom and where they eat. It was a big place and the fact that there are not that many people I was just taken up on that. Maybe a lot of people don’t know that it is there.
