Windsor House

My mom was at Windsor House two and a half years ago. She lived there for several years. The building was rundown. The food was in small portions. The facility was dirty. They didn't do any maintenance or help clean the rooms at all. My mom couldn't bend over and clean things. It was just pretty gross. But she likes the daughter of the owner, and so we tolerated it because I can't move her from place to place, and she didn't like any of them, and she just decided that she'll stay there. The staff were pretty nice, all two staff members. My mom's room had these high ceilings and a fan way up high. It was coated in dust bunnies. I'm 6'4" and I couldn't reach them without a ladder. The facility was small and a very old building. There was no air conditioning going on in there, and in the summertime, it gets pretty darn hot. As for amenities, there was a juice machine, a coffee machine, and a TV room. There was a washer and dryer. Sometimes it works, sometimes it didn't. But that's about it. They need to put money into the building. The guy is a millionaire and he didn't have any money for maintenance at all. I had to call the Department of Children and Families because the roof was leaking onto her pillow at night before they finally fixed the roof. He needs to put some money into it or burn it down and start over. The facility was so raggedy.

Tbh.. I love this place. Very peaceful and comfortable. I been here for about five months now been nothing but love. Although I wish they had a pool because summer coming and God knows I want to get in the pool lol.. seriously much love to the windsor house for saving me when I much needed it. Thank you!!
