"Fountains at Sea Bluffs was lovely and beautifully maintained. It's up on a hill, above the ocean, and very attractive. The person who accommodated us was very charming, very knowledgeable, and has been there for at least 15 years. Many of the people I met had been there 15 years and that really impressed me. The food was delicious. They had a gym area with workout equipment, a spa, a steam room, a hot tub, and a pool."

"I went to Rowntree, and it was very pretty. From what I understand, it is probably best for somebody who can start out in independent living then they can get the long-term care, but my parents are farther along. The staff seemed OK; I was just there for a brief time. It looked safe and secure. I liked the beauty of it; the gardens were very beautiful. "

"I know a couple of people who have had family members at Walnut Village or somebody that I know who is there right now, and I really like this place. But one of the drawbacks was that I know I was going to get resistance from my aunt about the cost. Telling her, “Okay, you are going to have to come up with like $200,000 to move in,. I just didn’t think that I was going to get her to understand that. The second thing was that I wanted to keep her near her doctors, and I wanted to keep her closer to where she used to live; although Walnut Village was more convenient for me, it wasn’t convenient for her. It was a very nice place and also maybe a little large. "

"It was very difficult searching for a memory care setting for my mom. She loves gardening, listening to music, and going for walks. We picked Villagio because we realized our mom can continue doing the same things she enjoyed before she was diagnosed. The person is charge of activities does a great job and every time we visit our mom is very happy. I look forward to getting the activities calendar every month to see what fun things the staff has planned. "

"The Covington is very clean, had very nice staff, and had plenty of activities to keep the seniors active, but it’s pricey. "

"My wife and I moved to Regents Point a little over four years ago. We knew that we were going to a very nice facility located near the UCI campus where we could easily walk to the shops that support the campus. What we didn't know was that we had a large group of friends that we had not yet met. We a happy here and glad we made the move. We are part of a fairly large group of residents who visit and do other volunteer work at the assisted living and full scale nursing facilities on campus. In total about 20,000 hours volunteer work is provided each year. So those people who go to higher level of care than independent living get good professional care plus the equivalent of about 10 extra people who do volunteer work. I submitted this review because I have been so impressed with the programs I see (when I am doing volunteer work there) being offered to the residents in the assisted living portion of Regents Point (Sunridge). jk "
