I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My husband stayed at Marbridge Retirement Center. It was upscale. The building was fabulous. The staff was fabulous. I can't speak highly enough. I wish my husband could stay there, but he has two diseases and it didn't work for us. If you're lucky enough and you can get in there, it's fabulous. The owner-operator, Mr. Bower, and his wife, Dana, were wonderful. They're helpful people, and they go out of their way. It was so welcoming. When we got to the room, they put a welcome sign for my husband. It's immaculate. It's a lovely unit, and the help was fabulous. The food at the other place was good, but the food's even better here. There's so much to do. My husband and I enjoyed it. They had someone come in, and we had a Hawaii day, and they had a dancer come in and sing along. This is a five across the board for everything. They engage everyone and it's wonderful. They have a beautiful patio, and if you want to sit outside, they'll open the umbrella. Beside the dining room, they have a beautiful family room. If you want to have your family and your children or grandchildren, you are welcome. We brought our grandsons there and everything about them was positive. They're just a great organization with great people.

Marbridge Retirement Center was nice and brand new. It's small and beautiful. It was very kept up and very clean. I had a friend of mine whose mom's there and she loved it (she was the one who took us around). We said hi to some of the staff and they were great. They got a calendar of the month and a booklet of their activities. They do yoga, play music, play bingo, and have movie nights.

My parents are in assisted living at Marbridge Retirement Center. They're wonderful. They couldn't be any better. It's a great facility, the food is very good, and they have a couple of different chefs. The staff is probably some of the most caring people I've ever met in my life. They have an activity director. With my mom, I know that somebody came in and did the Rosary the other night. It's a very small place, but they'll play what the residents are interested in. There is a gentleman that comes in, reads the newspaper and talks about the current events. They actually just built a brand new building that my parents are moving into on January 5th. There will be amenities there. We can't go in because of Covid, but it's a great place.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother and her husband are staying at Marbridge Retirement Center. We chose it because they had one room available on the ground level, and we were able to look through the window. Other people also said it was a good place. They're building a new place that will hopefully be open by the end of the year. The room was large enough, and better than what they have in their home. It has a lot of windows and it's on ground level, and they're able to look outside. The rooms in the new building are going to be larger and have more amenities in them. It fit her needs. It was the homemade cheesecake that actually sealed the deal for her. The food is great, which they're really enjoying, and they said the care is good. They're happy, and we're happy. The staff is very friendly and always available when you need them. They're a little bit limited, but they have not had any cases of COVID there at all. They have bingo and other activities. They took her outside yesterday to be with my sister for a little visit and to get some fresh air. They only have 25 rooms right now, but the new building is going to have 66 or 67 rooms in it total. We can't really get in to sit in the room and inspect a lot of things, but what we saw was clean, and even our attorney had a good recommendation. It's great and once they get the activities up and going again it will be even better. They've been wonderful with us. The staff members are just sweethearts. They're taking good care of my mom and her husband. We compared a lot of the pricing, and it's right in the same price line as the others.

I visited this facility

Marbridge Retirement Center was very good. They had a lot of construction going on in a new building going up. The place was very homey, and the interior was nice, clean, and well-kept. It's a small place so there's not a lot of people around, but everybody was nice and well taken care of. It had that really home-like feeling because it's not that big of a building. The person who showed us around was excellent, informative, and helpful. They had a full schedule of activities and I think they do a good job of keeping the residents active there.
