This is a board and care home located in a nice residential neighborhood, with sidewalks. It also has a nice backyard. I've had a number of clients placed there. The rooms are beautiful, immaculate. And the staff is wonderful and well trained. Some don't speak English very well. But they always have at least one who does. The owner, is very hands-on. She has 4 or 5 homes. Her daughter and two sons run the daily operation of the homes The food is excellent, but there aren't many activities (typical with board and care). The owner does bring residents who can travel to the Walnut Creek Senior Center for lunch and a program on Fridays. They also do the residents' nails and makeup. They're very well cared for. The staff work well with families. The residents who do best here tend to be frail or have dementia but not behavior issues.
