"My stepson has moved into Golden Years Elderly Care. It is a very small place and extremely clean. It is licensed for six people, but at this point, they only have three. Two ladies share a room. My stepson, at this time, has the room to himself but if they get another man, he will need to share the room. Overall, I'm very pleased with Golden Years Elderly Care. They are taking care of my stepson They clean him up, do his laundry, and fix his meals. My stepson likes the food. They have chess, checkers, and other games available. They have televisions in each bedroom, in the family room, and in the living room."

"Jasmine is a beautiful person and a good cook and she truly cares about the people that she takes care of. But she needs more help. It is amazing what she's able to do by herself. She gives everyone special attention and she cooks them food that they like. They need to charge more and hire more people."

"The people at A Mission of Love seem to be giving my dad really great care. He actually likes it there. It's warm and comfortable. They feed him well and pay attention to him which is very much appreciated. He's only been there for a little over a month. They seem to care a lot and there's always somebody there for the people. The food looked and smelled good. The place is very homey and you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. Compared to everything else, the value is excellent."

"My grandmother is in Carmel Care Home. It's a home type situation. Her room is single living, and it's tidy and clean. We have no complaints. They take them to the store and to trips. The staff is fabulous. She enjoys the food. They have a recreation room, outside garden area, eating area, and a separate dining area. We love the service that she's receiving."

"Kar'n Care Home was excellent and I loved them. The place was great and clean. I loved the people. Everybody there looked happy and content. They take them out and I loved the fact that they have service dogs who work with people there. The food was good. It's a family-run business, and they were super nice. The rooms were good, and they had a modified shower that people can get in and out of, and that was smart. The house itself was smart and well thought out. They had a bus that was equipped for handicapped people, and they take them on outings. They also do barbeques. They're great in everything they do, just super."

"Garden of Eden Assisted Living is a private home. We chose it because Mom could have her own room, and it was affordable. Every else was too expensive to even share a room. Her room is great. She has her own room with a recliner chair in there so she could be transported. She has to be in a Hoyer to get transported. It's really good. I have no complaints. My mom loves the staff. They're wonderful, and they give her plenty of attention. There are no activities, but the food is fine. She doesn't complain, and she's real picky. They go out of their way for her. It was her birthday and they bought her whatever she wanted. They went to In-N-Out. They acknowledge things like that. They're really good. She's right in the mind, but she can't get out of bed, so she gets bedridden care. She has to be changed and bed bathed. It's very clean, and the residents are happy and friendly. The staff is very friendly. It's all good."

"It was very accommodating and very nice. It had a very homey environment. As soon as you walk in the door, you see the kitchen, and we didn't care for that. The place was very clean, and the grounds were beautiful. We didn't care for the layout of the room. The staff was very friendly, but it turned us off when they were pushing us to sign the papers."

"I went to D'Vine Home. I like it because there are only 10 people they care for. A bigger place would be too much for my mom's health, and 10 people is like the perfect number. The place is close to my house. It's pretty clean, very neat, and had nice people. I talked to Glenn and his wife, and I saw all the old members that lived there. If mom ever has to go to one of these places, she will go to D'Vine because that's the one I like. The price is OK for us. They share a room. There are two in each room, which is OK. I saw the entertainment room. I saw a lady watching TV. I saw another room, where they were playing. There were other people sitting down reading or doing something with a book."

"We looked at Love 2 Care Homes. It wasn't really something my dad would go for because it was small. It was like a four-bedroom house that was converted to a care facility, but they could have up to six residents. My dad is a very social person, and I thought something bigger would be better for him. Nothing about it made me very excited. It was just a little thing, and I didn't think it would be a good place for my dad. The staff was friendly, it was clean, and it seemed well kept. The backyard sitting area was kind of small. It would be great for someone who wasn't mobile. My dad likes to move around, so this wasn't big enough for him."

"Skyline Villa is in a private home and only carries a maximum of 8 residents, each having their own room. It’s for more extreme care where you really have to watch the client. Some of them have their own patios. They have full access of the house which is huge. All the meals are done in this incredible room that overlooks what I call the million dollar view. That view is very impressive, and they have grassy recreation grounds so that you can go outside and walk. It has sidewalks so you can have a wheelchair out there and you can see the view. They have a gazebo. You can have your own private parties if you want. The rooms vary in size, but each room has its own private shower. The showers are all new and they’re done in mosaic tile. They’re absolutely beautiful and they’re large. They have enough room for a wheelchair and another caregiver to assist with any bathing needs. They do not have microwaves or ovens in their rooms, but they get all the food and snacks and everything they need right there at the facility. They’re treated very well there. They have one caregiver to 2 people so that’s a good ratio. "

"I liked the cleanliness and how caring and very kind the caregivers were at Crystal Garden RCFE. They took care of the residents there. I know they took care of my husband, even though he was only there for two months. I could tell myself, just the way he was when I would go visit him, that he felt very comfortable. They did a good job and I would recommend that place. It was very clean, although they were doing construction at that time. It's a very nice home in a very nice area and a very quiet neighborhood. They were adding more rooms to the facility and they were extending out their front patio. They had exercises, crafts, different types of games, puzzles, and other activities. They also had music where they sang. I liked that my husband was involved in all of that."
