High Desert Villas is a very nice place. The people are nice. They have a library, a game room, a swimming pool, and a barbecue area. The houses are clean. I liked it very much, and it was the only one I could afford. It offers everything.

I went to see High Desert Villas on Jasmine Street in Victorville. It's a senior apartment and for a 1-bedroom, it's $1000 and $1800 for a 2-bedroom. The 1-bedroom was so tiny I couldn't even get my bed in there. It rendered me speechless and I couldn't believe how they put in seniors there. I'm not one of those seniors that's immobile or any of those kinds of things. I didn't like the size of the apartments. It looked very clean, but I would need to get rid of all my furniture, everything because nothing of mine would fit in there. The people there were nice but the apartments weren't suitable. The staff was very helpful and courteous. They didn't make me feel uncomfortable or anything like that. They showed me a weight room and a room where you could go read and relax. They also showed me the amenities that the place offered. They had a gym, a place where you could get your hair done, a lounge where you could just come and sit down and read or watch TV or socialize with other folks, and a pool.

I liked High Desert Villas. The staff was friendly, informative, and knowledgeable about the questions we asked. We chose it for my husband's sister. It's clean, well cared for, convenient, and very accessible to stores, hospitals, and urgent cares. There's a van for appointments that will take you to the doctor and the dentist. It's easy to get extra help to come in like if you needed assistance with your grocery shopping. Visitors are welcome. They had a pool, a spa, activities, a really nice community room, and most of the parking places are covered. They had a lot of one story if you don't want to go up to two story, and they had one- and two-bedrooms. It's a nice place and very affordable. The staff members remember you in a day. You cook your own food there.
