I like the grounds at Solstice Senior Living at Santa Rosa. The grounds are beautiful. They allow dogs. I can walk my dog at this place. The walkways are level. In the apartment, there is no stove or a range, but that isn't a problem because they serve all the meals, and I have a microwave, so if I want to warm anything up, I can do that. The rooms have a small refrigerator, which is perfect because you don't need to store a lot of food. The staff are wonderful. They serve three meals a day. The facilities are really good. They have quite a few activities. They have bingo twice a week. The thing I like the most is they have music. Professional musicians come in and play for us, and that's lovely. One night a week, we get together and chat and have wine, and that's nice. That part I like.

I went to Solstice Senior Living at Santa Rosa. The setting was beautiful. It's kind of in the country, but it's still close to stores and the necessary places that you need to go to. The person in charge was charming and delightful. She was great. And she showed me both apartments. They serve three meals, which is very unusual because most have a meal program. But they give you a credit of 650 a month and that usually turns out to be one meal a day, but you have a full kitchen. So, they did not have full kitchens, but they had three meals and I did eat in the dining room. It was very nice and very acceptable. The rooms are lovely. I saw two one-bedrooms and they were nice, very clean, and well laid out. And then we had lunch, and the food was great. And I thought it was a lovely complex. The facility was great. It's a very well-run place. And the people there are very happy with it.

Solstice Senior Living at Santa Rosa was very nice. We like the location of it. It has nice views out over the city and then back towards the woods on the other side with the trees and all that. I thought it was very well situated that way. The room was kind of small. The people were fine, but there was kind of a misunderstanding. We thought we were going to have lunch there because that's an important thing, to see how they do the meals, and we were kind of disappointed that since we were there at lunchtime, we weren't offered lunch. The lady said, "Well, I'm sorry, we can't do that now." They have the usual things like a library. It just didn't have the full range of extended care and we thought it wouldn't be that good for my friend because she may need more help. We thought it would be better that she get into a home that offers all three levels of living. She does not require special attention now, but she anticipates that she would because of her back and everything, that it's more limited in the future.

The setting at Solstice Senior Living at Santa Rosa was beautiful. The apartment was a step above the other place I saw, though not as nice as another place I toured. They have nice views. The residents that I observed seemed happy and engaged. They would have been my second choice. I only met with one person, but she was very personable, very knowledgeable, and as a whole, they definitely paid attention to the details. When I arrived there, there was a sign in the lobby welcoming me, and before I left the cook had brought out fresh scones for me to take with me, so they do pay attention to the little details. The scones they sent home with me were delicious, but I didn't have a full meal there. Their sample menus were far more appealing than the other place. The facility was well-kept, the only thing is that the apartments that I saw had not been newly remodeled, so there were some dings in the cabinets. But overall, they were nice.

I had an in-person tour of Solstice Senior Living at Santa Rosa. The building was very, very nice, clean, pretty, and was well kept up. The dining room was beautiful. The location and landscaping were terrific. I have nothing bad to say about Solstice. It was wonderful, including the staff. The dining room was very nice looking. It was beautiful, with big windows, and a very beautiful environment. The flooring was all new, and everything looked recently painted. They were pet-friendly.

I liked Solstice Senior Living at Santa Rosa. It was independent living and didn't really fit what we're looking for. I liked it, and the woman there was fantastic. She super nice. The building was a little bit older, but it was clean. It was nice. The rooms were nice. They weren't as nice as the other place. They've got a lot of stuff. That actually was a little surprise. They have a hairdresser's place there for the people to get their hair done, and that's cool. They had a poker night for all the people to play poker; I thought that was really interesting. I got a really good vibe from that place. It was like you could tell they had a lot of stuff going on that was fun for people. I thought it was pretty interesting, actually. They had a lot of activities there. There's little to none of outdoor stuff. It's kind of like the front of the building and the back of the building, and there's no real common area outside. As far as the outside, there's really not much out there. It's like one giant apartment complex. The woman that checked us in and gave us the tour was super helpful. She gave us a ton of good information about what some possibilities were going to be for us. Even though she knew that what my mom was needing wasn't going to work at their facility, she was fantastic and still met with us. She gave us a great tour and tons of information about other options we could look at like in-home care.

My visit to Solstice Senior Living at Santa Rosa was very good. The dining area was being renovated, we just saw where it was, but we didn't see the finished product. They showed us all the apartments and most of them were empty, but they looked fine, quite large, and they have a kitchenette. The gentleman who took us around was very knowledgeable, personable, easy to talk to, knew all his clients, and he was quite good. The facility was very nice, clean, and they're renovating and repainting it.

My father moved into Solstice Senior Living at Santa Rosa. They were very accommodating and very organized. He was able to upgrade to a slightly larger apartment, which was very nice. They had a special going on at the time, which also made it more feasible to get him in there. He's very comfortable. They're doing a great job. They have studios, but he went with an apartment. The staff is great. They have a lot of activities. They have a calendar for each week, they have the creative center where you can go and make decorations, and they have a quiet place to read your books and that type of thing. They have little get-togethers in their big front area of the place. They recently celebrated somebody's birthday, and they had a "Welcome Home" sign out in the front when my father got there, which made him feel very special. They just have the little added touches that really make it great. He loves the meals, and he's a very picky eater. The facility is very nice. Of the ones we visited, Solstice was the only one that has not had a COVID case.

Solstice Senior Living at Santa Rosa was very welcoming when we came here. The place is very nice and light, and we like our apartment. We're very happy here plus the residents are extremely friendly and nice. We like the feeling of the whole place. They have studios, 1-bedrooms and 2-bedrooms, and we're in a 2-bedroom on the second floor. They have a lot of activities, they have workshops, an art studio which is really nice, and they play all kinds of games. For an institutional setting, the food is very good. It's nice and they give you good variety, it's not the same food all the time. We get breakfast, lunch and dinner. We don't get breakfast, we just eat cereals, but lunch and dinner are very nice. It's not gourmet food or a fancy restaurant but it's very nice, and they have a salad bar where you can just get salads, and they give out fruits. Plus they have the best chocolate chip cookies you could eat, they're really good. We like it and we're happy we made the decision to move. They have a beauty salon, and a big library and a lot of residents have donated books. For the exercise room they have bikes, though the manager said they're looking into getting some weights. They also have a walking club and they do all kinds of things, it's a very active community since it's all just independent living. No one has something like dementia, that I know of, and most of the people are nice to talk to and they're very friendly. A lot of the residents here have walkers. And they give you a little thing that you could wear around your neck and in case you have an emergency, you just press the button and they'll come to help you. For what we pay here and what we get, the value of the services here is very good. Unlike other places where you have to buy in, they don't do that here, they just charge you for monthly rent. The staff is the nicest people, friendly and wonderful, I can't say enough. Their dining room overlooked the mountains, and it's a beautiful view which is a big feature we really liked.

Solstice Senior Living at Santa Rosa was open but needs to be updated somewhat. The staff was very friendly. They do exercise classes but I wasn't as impressed with the place. The facility just needs some work to make it more appealing since it's a little older. The dining area was very nice though and it was a restaurant-type experience with a menu.

Solstice Senior Living at Santa Rosa didn't have many facilities. They have an exercise room with only three machines in it, they a very small library, and they don't have extended care. If one of us needed extra care, we'd have to move out. However, the price was very reasonable and the food was good. The location was nice and the apartments were nice too.

We already chose it, and we have been here for almost four weeks. I highly recommend it. It just felt like home -- very friendly and really nice units. The staff is good, excellent. Our room is one of the three really large one-bedroom units. The food is acceptable. The dining room is a very nice, high ceiling, very nice seating, and it is a beautiful room and has windows all around it where you could look out. It also has very good activities.

I visited. There was practically no one around, because they were on a field trip. The community was very attractive, and was made on the side of the hill. It was very nice and seemed to have a lot of parking, and that was good. The staff was very nice. It was empty, so it seemed more an institution than a home.

It seemed homey and friendly. The dining area was really nice, and they offer parking and weekly housekeeping. They take the residents weekly to shopping. There’s Bible study, and we met people with common background. The ratio of couples was good.

My friend is here, and she is very happy. I like the warmth of the people. Everybody is just wonderful. The dining area is fabulous. It is like being on a cruise ship. One thing that is nice is that they have a staff that lives on site.

We stayed there for two days, and we liked it. They were very nice to us, and we enjoyed the food. The person who was in charge with us was very gracious. She was like a mother to us and did her job extraordinarily well. The room that we are in wasn’t well appointed with furnitures, but that was OK. We were glad that they gave us a free bed.

I have eaten twice here, and I think the food is pretty good. The apartments are actually quite spacious. The staff seems very friendly. It appears to be very secure. I have not seen anything I have not liked about it yet.

We actually placed my mother-in-law in this facility. We chose this one because of the amenities that it offered, and there were a lot of things. It has the combination of both, not only the care but the independent living and stuff, so it seems like a good fit for what needs my mother-in-law has. I absolutely recommend them to others. There are so many different bearings of activities either between cards, games, movie nights, and excursions. They do weekly excursions where they take the residents there, and they go on a tour. It has been something that my mother-in-law has really enjoyed because the social aspect of senior living center that she has there is something that she direly needed. It brings her out. It makes them more of a community like doing the different activities that they have.

I live here. It's quite good, actually. It's up on the hills in a very nice area. We're surrounded with quite a bit of open space with nice trees, horses and we have our own vineyard. They have very good efficient staff. They treat us well. The place is clean. We have three meals a day that a chef prepares. We have a big salad bar and we have the salad bar for both lunch and dinner.
