I like Hanna House because it is small and it is like a group home. There are only five patients, and it is very close to where I live. I also have good reviews of it, and those are the main reasons why I chose it for my dad. He is fine there, and he really likes it. They all have Parkinson's, and my dad doesn’t do too much. Most of them are just bedridden, on their wheelchairs and around 90, so they just watch TV. I see what they eat, and, as all of them have Parkinson's, they have soft food, like casseroles, and the meat is so tender. Everything is fresh and of good nutrition. His room is fine, and it is a good size. The staff is very good. They really take care of him and help him take showers, help him in the bathroom, and they have an intercom so they can hear what is happening in the room. They have video at night so they know if they are up at night.
