"Chancellor Place in Windsor was such a beautiful place for my father in his last days. All of the staff were very attentive and compassionate and always asked me if there was anything that they could do for my father while he was there for 5 months. There is a beautiful garden area in back and the food was very good. When my father was declining rapidly they were always there for me. When I was leaving with him after his death the whole staff stood in a double line and they all placed lilies on him and gave me hugs. They all said they would miss him and I know they were sincere. I would highly recommend Chancellor Place to anyone seeking an assisted living facility for their loved ones. I will always be grateful for the care they provided my father. "

"The entire facility at Healdsburg Senior Living is top-notch! We are most familiar with the Memory Care Unit as that is where our Mother resides under the excellent care of the HSL staff. Their are a variety of room configurations, we were fortunate enough to be able to obtain a single unit for Mom. There are activities planned throughout the day to keep everyone active and entertained and we really appreciate the care and attention provided by all the care-givers. We are especially thankful for the live musicians that are scheduled on a regular basis to provide such great music for the residents. "

"My brother-in-law is in Rohnert Park Retirement Community. It's a lovely community, and if you don’t have to be in assisted living, anybody would want to live there. If you're an independent person, there are all kinds of activities, and for assisted living, they have exercise and games. His room is okay, it's a studio, it's one of their cheaper rooms, but it could be cleaner. I think the staff is good. The food is good, it's like going to a restaurant. However, we don't like that every time you sneeze they add a different charge."

"Clearwater at Sonoma Hill has not opened yet but I am intending to go there once they do open. I have visited this place several times, it was beautiful. I was meaning to get a 1-bedroom apartment which is very nicely appointed so I'm really pleased. They have a fitness room which is important to me, and other standard amenities. The apartment itself and their staff members are wonderful, and they're very nice to deal with."

"We chose it for my wife, but currently we are on their waiting list as they don’t have any two-bedroom availability yet. I like the location of facility, and their food was satisfactory. "

"Windsong of Sonoma is a beautiful place. My friend is in the memory care side, so to get to her, you have to go through someone who can open the door because it is locked. She has a beautiful large room with a bed, a dresser, a dining table, a TV, a bookcase, and a chair. She looks out at a garden. There's lots of staff that are around. They are wonderful and very caring people."

"It was very nice and open. There was a very good feeling because people were walking around happy and smiling. It felt very comfortable and my mother liked it. Coleen, the person who toured us, was very sweet, friendly and enthusiastic. It was a great group of people. They had exercise going on when we were there."

"I went to tour and they had a model one-bedroom that I can only use one word to describe, it was stunning. It was beautiful. It was like the apartment you always wanted to live in. It looks like it wasn't a senior living home. When you pay $30,000 to get in there, they've got something going on, more than the usual place. And it was just lovely. It was lovely, but it was very expensive. The guy who took care of the tour was delightful. He was great. He was very nice. He was there and spent the time and we looked at several studios. We looked at them because I could manage the studio there. The food was fantastic. They had a chef, not a cook. They had 2 or 3 menus and 2 or 3 dining rooms. It was pretty fancy. They had a gym that was geared for old folks. And they had a guy that was there doing exercises every day. This guy would work with you and give you a special. I thought that was amazing. And then they have a walk-in clinic to help you with things when you can't get to the doctor. And I thought that was good, too. They had a nice outdoor area, and a place where you could sit on chairs. It was shaded and it was really beautiful. And then they had 2 or 3 dining rooms. One of them had a bar. They have happy hour every night. So, there are more amenities with the more money you spend. We had lunch there. They had a chef on hand and he knew what he was doing. I had a gourmet salad with grilled peaches and it was just lovely. The food was lovely."

"Piner's Guest Home was very homey. They had a couple of kitty cats that were kind of their facility's pets and then the owner has a dog that comes in as well. My sister called the place cluttered, but to me, it felt homey. There were books out and it felt like visiting your grandma's house. It was very nice. They had a one-bedroom and a studio. The studio was a very nice room and very comfortable. Not only did they have a hair and nail salon where they could get their hair or nails done once a week, but they also had activities like flower arranging, making art pieces, music, VR headsets to play games, and movies."

"I visited. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were very nice. There was a very nice atmosphere. We did look at the rooms and the common rooms, and they seemed quite good. The dining room looked very nice. What we like about the place was that it was stair-steps, and if you needed more care, it was available there. They had Alzheimer's care. What we were impressed with was that they had a lot of information about expediting their old people getting in there. My father was a Veteran, and they had some information on that. They were just very forthcoming with the information. We would have him go there because it looked like a really nice spot for him, and it looked like something that would fit his needs. Security seemed adequate. "

"My wife moved into Vine Ridge Assisted Living. The place is very nice, but any memory section is kind of depressing. The move-in experience went fairly easy. The interaction with the staff seems good. There are only six residents and there are two caregivers there all the time. One section is assisted living where people get around and everything, but they have the memory section, which is very small. They have 15 rooms, but right now, they only have six residents. They're private rooms. For the people in assisted living, a clown guy came in, but that's all I'd seen. I didn't see too much. They got a courtyard, which is huge and pretty, and it's completely fenced, so nobody can get out. The doors are electronic. You got to have a code to get in. The food is pretty good."

"The Villas is excellent. We never had a problem. It's really nice, much better than places my mom was in previously. It's convenient for us and not too far away. The staff is really good, we know what’s going on. I haven’t eaten there but they have a list of everything. Mom has no problem eating the food. She has a shared room. She was in a huge shared room. She was okay with it but then they gave her her own room. I don't think she enjoyed that at all. I was surprised, I thought she wanted to be by herself. But she had a little attitude so she was back with someone else. "

"My mom was at Vintage Chalet. I would give it a 1, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. If my mom did not get there for meals, she didn't eat dinner. They took her to the doctor and ran out of gas, and my mom fortunately had money with her and she paid for the gas. She was there for about six months. The ladies that work there were very kind and good to my mother. There were 6 different rooms and only 6 people there. It was a regular house. "
