Windsong of Sonoma is a beautiful place. My friend is in the memory care side, so to get to her, you have to go through someone who can open the door because it is locked. She has a beautiful large room with a bed, a dresser, a dining table, a TV, a bookcase, and a chair. She looks out at a garden. There's lots of staff that are around. They are wonderful and very caring people.

I toured Windsong of Sonoma. It was very nicely appointed. It was newly upgraded and it seemed like a very nice community. The people that I saw there were friendly. The rooms are quite spacious. They were newly painted and newly carpeted, and they looked very clean and nice, and very comfortable. During the tour, the staff were very nice and personable. The manager that we spoke to was very knowledgeable and had some good suggestions, and it seemed like the few that we were introduced to knew what they were doing. I liked the fact that they were all in the same type of uniforms and that sort of thing. It was very good.

My husband was in Windsong of Sonoma. I wouldn't recommend anybody to go there at all. He got sick and went to the hospital, and they did not want him back. The best thing about the place is the caregivers. They're very good, but the management is terrible. The food is great, I have eaten there a lot. They have bingo, movie nights, field trips, and they have art classes and exercise. They pretty much have everything.

The things that impressed me about Windsong of Sonoma was that the dining room was very close to the residents. It was a short elevator ride, maybe 20 feet, to the dining room and to the activity room. It's right there, so anyone that has any kind of mobility problems, they're real close. It's smaller, cozier, and very clean. We happened to be there when the activities director was having a class and everyone seemed very engaged and having a good time, which was nice. The staff was wonderful. We dealt with three different folks and they were all excellent and very accommodating. The facilities were great.

I went here and they did a good job. The person that gave me the tour wasn't as hard a sell as the other places I've been to. It wasn't like, "You got to sign the contract today." I don't like that hard sell stuff. It's a good atmosphere. There were elderly people walking around, and everybody seemed pretty friendly. I didn't actually go into any other room other than the model, and it was very nice. The building itself was in good shape. It was nice. They had a nice courtyard. The dining area was nice and seemed clean and relaxing. They had some party for a guy that turned 100, and there was a bunch of different things. They had a bird there, which was a cockatiel. They had an Oscars night thing where they had some people dressed up like old movie stars. They have some pictures of those things up on the wall.

What I like the most is the medical aspect of the facility. They have care plans for the residents, and they just seem more medically oriented. All the staff were very nice and the place has a very friendly atmosphere. When you're going in with a studio-sized room, it all looks very small, but it is still very nice. It's very clean, it's very homey, and they have very good food.

We toured and we took our mom and had lunch there; I would seriously consider it. They had a private room, like a dorm room, with a little refrigerator, a full bath, and a bedroom. They have the dining room, they offer house cleaning, laundry service, and they have different activities throughout the day. They had a memory care section if my mother would need that. The staff was wonderful, and they all seemed really great. The rooms were really small.

I saw the memory care here. The staff member who took me on a tour was very helpful, very friendly, and very informative. The overall experience was great. The rooms were really nice. It was totally not what I was expecting. They were very helpful and pleasant. The place certainly looked wonderful; it looked great. It was bright and cheerful. The young lady who took me on a tour was very personable; she was great. I really like the gardens that they had. It was a nice place. It looked like a place where you can feel at ease putting your loved one there, and that they would probably be well taken care of very well.

We toured and saw that the building was bright. The rooms were also bright and clean. They have a little refrigerator and a microwave in them. There are more selections for meals compared to the community my mom chose, and you can go down to eat. There are definitely more activities as well, especially outside the community. The support is there for someone who needs it and the building is nice. The have a day to go to the bank and a day for going shopping. Residents also have day trips to go to different places. They also do bingo, music, happy hour, and have exercise classes.

I toured and it was very favorable. They have a reputation among the Alzheimer’s Association. The staff member was excellent, talked with us in a lovely private dining room, gave us a wonderful overview of the program, and took us on a complete tour. We saw some activities that were beginning, like people gathering for live music.

I did a tour for my mom. It was a nice tour. I learned a lot about the facility. Then two weeks ago, I went back for an unscheduled visit, and it was equally as lovely, clean, and nice. The first time I went, it happened to be the same weekend where it had like a family-open house weekend, so there were lots of activities and lots of visitors coming and going. When I came back for an unannounced visit, my brother and I arrived at a lunch area, so more people were in the dining area, but they had some things set up for stuff that was going to happen after lunch.

I thought the staff was very knowledgeable. They were very helpful, and they asked a lot of very important questions, which gave me the impression that they really knew what they were talking about. They also gave me the impression that they were very caring. I thought it was very clean, and I liked the layout. It did not look very industrial. It looked very homey.

Mom was here before she died. The place was wonderful. It was a very caring and good place for her. The staff was excellent and caring. They were hands on, and they gave her hugs. They knew her name from the very start. They lovingly invite her to activities. She ended up walking with her walker, and she ate a lot. She likes the food there. It smelled good in there all the time. It was really a great place. They have a memory care section where nobody could go in or out without a staff member taking the time to come and open the door. With their activities, they have tea parties, bowling, and car rides. It was really top quality.

It was a little bit older. The facilities looked nice. They had a dining room, but not extensive hours. The lady that showed us around was very cordial and very nice and explained different things about the facility. She was very helpful, and she has called me back.
