"We ended up going with this facility for my uncle. The people that we've been working with have been very good. The dining room is really big. They're in a two-bedroom apartment, and it's really nice. They have their own bathroom. The activities are limited because of COVID. It's the most affordable."

"My initial tour of Shadowridge Senior Living was fine, but it was rushed because we called at the last minute and they said the person who was giving the tour was busy. So, a nurse took us. She was super nice and showed us everything. The place seemed new. It had been redone, so it was light and bright. I went back with my mom because I had signed her up. She would have gotten a shared room. It was big, but it was dark and it was upstairs. They had an activity room. The day we went, the residents were playing bingo. The dining room seemed nice and bright, with tablecloths on the table. The facility seemed clean, but it seemed cramped once you got upstairs. I gave the salesperson the information she requested about my mom's medical records, but I never heard from her again. "

"The staff at Villa Monticello Assisted Living is wonderful. Its a very small community with only 29 residents. The food is good and they are very helpful. The assisted living and memory care unit are all together in one area. They have some little exercises, they were singing yesterday, crossword puzzles and so on. My husband has a lot of freedom there because the residents can be outside. Im very pleased with the place."

"Hillside Garden II was very clean, professional, and very safe. The staff was attentive, kind, patient, and very understanding of the situation. They were not pushy. It was a residential board and care home with four bedrooms that were remodeled to accommodate wheelchairs and hospital beds. It just wasn't exactly what we needed at this time."

"Las Villas Del Norte was the first place I visited and saw my first model rooms. The studio was too small. They had nice grounds, and I liked the neighborhood that it was in. There is a large mall across the street. I had a good tour with the concierge who took me around. I had a very good feeling about the place. "

"A dear friend of mine is now a resident at Ocean Hills Senior Living in Oceanside, California. this independent living facility is beautiful. They have a gym, pool, and daily activities which keep all the residents engaged and happy. Their restaurant has a very diverse menu which also changes daily. The food is very good and their staff and chef are aways on hand to help in any way they can. Bill, their maintenance director, as well as the entire staff should be commended for their thoughtfulness and work ethics."

"Alex and his team at Golden Retreat in Vista cared for my 94-year old Father. They were kind and attentive to his needs. They provided my Father with the physical and emotional memory care that he needed and helped to reduce his anxiety. Alex has a real rapport with my Father. Alex, Donna, and their staff are very observant regarding any health issues and were excellent at letting me know right away. The facility is very clean, comfortable, and home-like and there is a nice patio that my Father enjoyed on sunny days. The menu is developed by their on-staff dietitian and is nutritious and really good. My Father clearly enjoyed the meals that they served. I am so grateful for the care that Alex, Donna and their staff gave to my Father. "

"We toured Gardens at Escondido. It's a wonderful place. I would highly recommend it. I like it a lot. It's like a well kept cul-de-sac place. The hallway was like a hotel, the hallways, the library, and all these different places that people could go in, and the people there were just very friendly. They enjoy being there. The staff was very wonderful and all the staff that we talked to went out of their way to be friendly, asked if we needed anything if we had any questions, and showed us several different areas like a one-bedroom or even a two-bedroom unit, that kind of thing. It was just impressive. The memory care, they took us through there. It's really nice to have an outdoor place that's safe for them to go out even though it's on the third floor. They have trees and stuff like that where people could go out and enjoy being outdoors but being safe outdoors, which I liked. The freshly baked cookies were good. We enjoyed those."

"I like Westmont Town Court very much. The service is great, and the food is so good. I can't say anything but nice things about this place. My room has a refrigerator, and a nice kitchen. It is a very big room with a screen that divides the living room from the bedroom. The food menu has a lot of variations, and everything is cooked well. I exercise in the swimming pool, and we have poetry, book reading, and bridge. "
