My mother will be moving into Ramona Senior Manor. It's 3 minutes from my house, so I can go see her all the time, and she gets her own room. The people are nice. The hospice caregivers that I have for my mom said that they're nice and they run a tight ship. It doesn't look like a nursing home. It looks more like a retirement place, and it doesn't smell like a nursing home. It's residential living. They're going to take her until she dies. She has dementia. They're starting another in January in Ramona. The staff is nice. Elsa and Jim, the administrator, are nice. They have people that come in and do activities. They have a nice cafeteria where everybody sits and eats, and they have good food. My hospice worker said that they're good there. They have nice rooms.

Ramona Senior Manor is a very nice place. It's not what we're looking for, but it was a very nice place. It's clean. The rooms were nice and fair-sized. I wouldn't want to spend my whole day there; they're not very big. The common areas were very nice. The staff were very nice and very accommodating. What stood out would have been the community areas and that people were using them, and it was nice. Also, if they could offer their residents transportation to doctors, that would be nice. But the facilities were good.
