My parents have moved into Huntington Manor. I like the fact that it was reasonably priced and felt more like a home, not a facility. The staff is friendly, and they do their jobs. They have everything like bingo, puzzles, karaoke, and live music. Sometimes, somebody will come to play the piano. They have a really beautiful garden area that you can walkthrough. It almost feels like you're at a park. My parents do like the food. It's very well balanced and they make everything very soft, so that way everybody can enjoy it. They dine together almost like they're at a restaurant. So, they all eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the same time together if they're able to get up out of bed to go to the dining room.

We chose Huntington Manor for my friend because they have very good caregivers that have been there from 5 to 20 years. It's highly recommended, as I checked out with several other people who are living there, and it's a good fit. My friend has been there for a year now. The staff members are very reliable, very kind, and very knowledgeable on how to take care of a quadriplegic. They have two chefs and a couple of other people who are learning the modalities of fixing the food, and the food is very good even for a picky eater. The rooms are spacious. In the newer building, each room has its own private bath, and it's also that way in the second building. In the largest building, three-fourths of the rooms have their own private bath and shower and the others have a community shower and bath that they use. The staff is very, very good, and they also have a good Activity Director. They got through this COVID mess with no one getting sick at all. It is well run, and the administrator has been very good at taking care of the place. It's an older place but it has been upgraded. Activities have been limited, but people are doing puzzles, exercises, and bingo, as well as doing video calls with families. Value for money is also very good.

My husband is in Huntington Manor, and so far it's been very good. We're very pleased. It's a very loving and caring facility. The people have been wonderful, and they really care for my husband. He even mentioned to me how kind everyone is to him. Their facility is very nice, and my husband has his own private room.

My friend went to Huntington Manor. She had hospice care there, and it was very good. Huntington Manor was very good. She was there for three weeks. The food was alright. The room was fine, but it was really plain, so we put in pictures to decorate it. It was just four white walls. The bathroom was adequate. You walk into the shower, so it was very safe and appropriate. With regards to activities, there was a living area where they had couches, and my friend would go there and watch television with other people. Overall, they were very good and very caring.
