They insist on allowing her to make decisions (she is 96) while gently guiding her to an active life. The residence is clean, bright, and cheerful. She would not be alive today if it wasn't for the joy and happiness brought to her daily by the staff. "We had chosen WellQuest of Granite Bay for my mom. The tour was good. I was very impressed with it. They showed us a unit. We're going to bring in our own furniture though. They're very nicely equipped, but in memory care, they don't have a kitchen. They have a very nice outdoor area. They even take the residents out on walks. They have trails, and they can do exercises in the heated swimming pool. The dining room is amazing, and the food is really good. And, as a participant, you can pay for lunch or dinner and then you can have a meal with your parent. The staff who toured us was great. She was very knowledgeable. There's nothing available right now, so we are on a waiting list for memory care. It's fine though because we don't want to do it till July anyway. It's pretty brand new, so everything is nice. I also like that outside each door, there's a little showcase where the residents can put in their memorabilia, so they can find their room, and in the memory care they always have somebody with them. I think that's pretty nice to have that."

"We toured Vista Roseville Senior Living. It was very nice. The staff was helpful. The one thing we didn't care about was the music they played all the time. We felt that wasn't something my sister-in-law would care for. It wasn't very relaxing. It was upbeat. Maybe they don't have that all the time, but that music going was a little intrusive. The apartments were very nice and well taken care of. The accommodations there for the food and everything looked very nice."

"I had an appointment in Angels Assisted Living Inc. and there was nobody there to talk to me. They weren't aware I was coming. Somebody opened the door. Didn't know who I was and just led me from room to room. I don't have much comment about the room."

"When my mom and I toured, there were two private rooms available. They would share the spacious bathroom just a few feet away. The house is comfy and clean. Veronica, one of the owners showed us around. Currently, the tenants are two women and two men, and they were very friendly. As we were leaving my mom said to me, now that's more like it. I think she liked it, but we're still looking."

"Eskaton Lodge Gold River is a very nice place that is well kept up inside and outside. At the time there was a Mardi Gras celebration going on inside the lodge that the residents and visitors were able to participate in that was very fun, and the staff there were so friendly and nice. "

"My mother has moved into Roseberry Care. It's a memory care facility, and I'm pleased with its services overall. The interaction with the staff is very good. The room is a two-person room. They have single rooms. The facility is well-appointed, nicely decorated facility. They do all kinds of therapy, they provide food, they provide outings, and they have entertainment come in for the residents. They bring beauticians in to pamper the residents."
